wheel spacer question

I added a 5mm wheel spacer to my 98 GS 400. I got +24 offset up front and the wheels didn't clear the caliper (the reason for the spacers). My question is I only got 3.5 full turns on the lug nuts....that can't be enough???

I think safe is 6 turns right? You're taking a big chance.

no, you should get rid of those slip on spacers, they can cause your stud threads to stretch when you torque your lugs down, causing you to replace all the studs. any room to run like a 15mm kic's spacer?

I run 3mm on my lexus that is is fine but I found 5mm to be too big.  Run extended studs or a 3mm spacers instead.

i got a question about spacers. I need/want a 10mm spacer up front and 15mm spacer in the back
ets say i want to install a 15mm kics spacer, do i have to cut off/shorten the hub bolts so the wheels would fit?

depends on the back pad of your wheels, a lot of japanese wheels will have holes machined for the studs to fit inside.

I am running 15mm bolt on spacers that were machined down to 11mm. I had to cut my stock studs to fit them because my Weds did not have pockets in the back :(

Do project kics spacers come with longer studs?

my works dont have the pockets on the back of the wheel
so i guess im giong to have to cut it down
