these 2 have particularly bad horizons that take a lot away from the pic imo.

Well, out of curiosity, I went back and changed the horizon lines, (because something did seem off to me too) and it did make a considerable diference for the better. Thank you, though, for the compliment.

Yeah, I had been iffy on it, but decided to go for it right before the shoot. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the change.

Thanks. I really wanted a Y33, but due to the fact that, to do it right takes about twice the cash as it does for a UCF, I conceded to another all-time favorite of mine. I prefer the Y33 because they seem a lot less common, but I like this year UCF, as they are probably the least common of the LS line.

I'm pretty sure Lexus cost more to build, from the purchase of the car to suspension mods. I could be wrong about this though

And yea, at the time I bought my Q, I thought it'd was the least common car at that time.......but now :pat:HAhaha
But you're right, the UCF20 & 10s are the least common of the LS line

they're not less common, they're just so boring that the eye doesn't register them.

Well, to do a proper coilover setup on a Y33, to my preference at least, it would take a s14 suspension swap and customized coilovers, with adjustable control arms and whatnot, aswell. There are very few plug-n-play coilover systems for the Y33, and even less that are aggressive enough to drive really low. Plus, I would most likely want to either lip kit or full kit a Y33, whereas I don't see the need with the UCF20. 
 
The purchase price is almost the same for each these days though, and I honestly don't have all that much in this car ATM. All parts were bought with cash I didn't expect to have (i.e. Christmas bonus, apt. fucked up and I got a month free rent).

So common the eye does not register. Ha ha  yeah im post stalking. I beg to differ but price points are the same and the ucf10 looks old. Love the ucf21 atleast if done right the q looks more modernized.

I better not be smelling ucf10 hate a brewin :thelaw:

Brokey's suspension was pretty cheap if you ask me and although it's not the friendliest ride comfort, it is the lowest Y33 here in the states. Agree w/ you on needing a kit for it though. Either way it is what it is, your shit is lookin good and that's all this is really is about. So keep doing you

i was kinda joking, the ls (any generation) is way more common in houston than the y33.
 
i've always felt like the y33 (and even the facelifted g50 to a lesser extent) was an uninspired conformist move by nissan to ensure the success of the infiniti line. modernized... meh. that criteria is questionable in itself, but they all look old (or classic depending on your pov). the y33 may be hanging onto the crest, but just barely. in 10 years, when everything is way out of it's prime, the g50s and ucf10s will be the ones people look back on because they created a market that didn't previosly exist. true trendsetters.
 
this is just my opinion of course, i (we) don't have to agree with everyone's platform/style of choice to appreciate them as enthusiasts and accpet them as brethren.

PM Ryhi. He did them. They were originally red+clear+red and he used red laminex over part of the clear to class it up.

OG mike.  What the heck are u talking about. Can't deny the lines of the y33. That g50 is odd and ugly without the president conversion in my opinion and I don't think it can stance properly without a pretty good imagination and a lot of fender work.

Love the stance though.  Super clean. Lexus is the best car hands down

its all subjective. i prefer the g50 to the y33 all day, and i dont even need the pres conversions lol.

So simple and so clean. It looks perfect.
