What PSI is everyone running on their stretched tires???

I bought some new wheels and it came with some general tires (awesome tires buy the way) and my buddy that I bought it from was running 34 PSI all around on his tires.  The tires are 225/35/19 on a 10J and 245/35/19 on a 11J.  He has never had any problems with blow outs or bubbles in his tires.  I'm just used to running 42psi in all my stretched  tires.... because I don't want to get a blow outs or bubble if i hit a big pot hole.

I just hate riding on 40+ PSI it feels like ass....

So my questions to everyone is... what is everyone running for their PSI on their wheels?  (please post your stretch/tire brand/PSI)   thanks for your help!

Same psi you run on all my tires, even when I drifted.

8.5f 9.5r with 225's. 32psi i try and keep all around

What car did the wheels/tires come off of? Vehicle weight definitely plays a role.
 
I think it's more personal preference. I've seen the same. Guys running OEM pressures in their stretched tires and I personally run 40 psi all around.
Might feel like shyte but a blow-out would feel worse.

I run about 35 all around and it rides like shit. Too much air but rather have that than the tire slip off.    10 inch width and 225/35 falken tire. Pretty big stretch so I checked air frequently.

Oh your right... It came off of a IS350 and I have a GS350 almost 2 tons...  weight of my car is around 3800 something

That'll do it. I've seen Golf's run the craziest stretch with 30 psi.

50 psi 
225/35 Federal SS595 on 19x10 
245/35 Nexen N3000 on 19x11

I know it's high but I haven't had any problems and it seems to take potholes better.

40 all around
245/30/20 - 20x10
225/35/19 - 19x9.5
...i agree with crispy, seems to take potholes and the occasional lane reflector better. felt like tires were gonna fold or buckle right off the wheel with a lower psi.

Chris and Nelson..... I can understand you guys loading your PSI to that level living in cali theres pot holes everywhere.  It seems like when it rains down there the potholes get bigger lol

Running 50PSI on my 215/35 Federal SS595 on 19x9 and 225/35 Nankang NSII on 19x10

40spi - 225/35-19 on 19x9 and 235/35-19 on 19x10

Ride quality not only depends on tire pressure, but also how soft the sidewall is. Load rating is also measured at the maximum psi the tire can hold.  If you're running a tire size that barely makes the minimum load rating of your car, you should be running higher than 40 psi like chrispy and genetic to prevent blowouts. I'm not too sure how safe it is to run 50psi, but you can forget about spirited driving of any kind along with a top speed of 65 mph.

Some drifters put 60-70 psi in their tires and then they heat up to even higher than that. If they can do that then driving around town should be okay as long as you don't do anything stupid.

Yup, potholes get bigger every time it rains here. Gotta memorize where they are.

matt on those same tires on my Q I run them at the at the recomened pressure that on the tire but only in the winter but is the vegas summer you can go down 10psi an your still gonna be cool never had any problems with there general only had problems when i switched to nangkangs

42psi on 225 40 18x8.5
42psi on 255 35 18x10

minimal stretch...but i did run same pressure on same mags with 215 front and 235 rear.
rides fine to me...anything below 40 seems to floaty to me

50psi here

45 and up usually.  As mentioned, when it gets colder, the psi goes down so check 2 times a week.  Doesnt take much to loose a bead when you are stretched a lot.  

The bigger the stretch, the more psi you must keep.  If I kept mine under 36, they would either loose a bead or blowout quick.  I always try to keep them at 40+

40 psi all around 235/35 on 9.5 and 255/35 on 10.5

50psi 225/40 on a10.5

I put nitrogen in my tires hot or cold the PSI stays the same.  Im at 40 psi all around... at 35 psi it rides like a dream.

Nor sure if the heft makes a diff. I have an S600

I run 255/40/19 @34 and 285/35/19 @35psi Continentals

Last i did 38psi and it wore down the centers pretty quick with Michelin PS2s...

215/35/19 on a 9inch wide with 55psi 

245/35/19 with an 11inch wide with 55psi

19x9.5 with a 215/35/19; I run 50psi (daily driver).

Not gonna risk popping a bead.  Running errands, pot holes, hour+ drives....haven't ran into any issues yet.  

I think its pointless to run low tire pressure on 35-30 series tire stretch since you don't have sidewall flex anyways.  Better safe than sorry.

215/35/18 on 9.5 on the miata with 9k/6k spring rates, 245/35/19 on 10.5 and 255/35/10 on 12 on the G with 12k/10k spring rates between 50-60psi to handle the 5 fwy work commute and downtown la roads and for a few mm's of road clearance.
