crown custom

i'm jelous. my buddy just bought it for $1,000. its a usdm 1972 toyota crown custom. manual 4 speed. i think the number of crowns imported to the US was in the double digits. then there were coupes sedans and wagons. so far weve only been able to locate 3 other crowns in the US. 1 coupe, 1 sedan, and one other wagon. hes a classic toyota whore. he never has less than 5 classic toyotas at his house and they are all drooling material. so far out of rarity though, this one takes the cake. heres the pics.enjoy.

I have to say, while i am a fan of rare cars etc, that is pretty ugly... Got any other pics? I dont suppose he is going to go Yankee style on it is he?

not a real yankee car. but his nevest project is this celica with a twin-charged 4AGE. it will be his track car when its done.

he got that from ebay, huh?? i was about to bid on it to.


there was a coupe on ebay about a month or 2 ago. from LA, it was all parted though.

yeah, we live in seattle and he drove down to cali that night to pick it up.
