My name is John. I own a Lincoln LS. It s not you typical VIP from Japan. Or built from an import platform. The Lincoln LS shares the same platform as the Jaguar S type. Thou the Lncoln LS didn't get the supercharged 4.0L v8 the Jag did. It did get the smaller 3.9L v8. The 1st gen is 252hp. While the 2nd gen got 270hp.

As for backround and info on my 2000 Lincoln LS8. Its factory Autumn Red(maroon with pearl). Its been lowered with Eibach springs. Sits on Konig Prophets 19" chrome. Wrapped in Dunlop 245/35/19's. Drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads and painted calipers. It has the Razzi lip-kit. Extreme Dimensions uses my LS to promote and sell their Duraflex "Racer" kit. It can be found on Ebay and all over the net. Got to love it, when people steal your images.:pat: BMW M5 lip spoiler. I have LSKoncepts McLaren grille. Angel-eye headlights with clear markers. The interior is stock with wood grain steering wheel and trim. The tunes are from an Alpine W203 DVD/CD headunit. Cabin is all Alpine. The trunk has 2 10" Memphis subs with 2 pairs of Sony coaxial speakers. Chrome PPI amps 2300 and 4200. Push a modst 350 watts. Been rated at over 140db. The engine bay has had some custom detailing done. Shaved, painted, and pinstrped plenum cover. CAI with cone fliter.

Really, there is to much really to cover everything in a single post. Pictures and a short video.

So are you gonna attempt a vip look with it? I always liked these, I think with a nice set of wheels and removing the chrome on the front it has potential.

I have always liked the VIP look and styling. I would like to at least get close to the VIP look. I plan to paint the chrome strips in the front and rear bumpers. I have a rear surround and headlight bezels getting painted right now. I have a buyer for the current wheels. But need the rest of the cash for a new set of wheels and tires.

Working on "cleaning it up". Getting rid of the chrome.

The wheels are a cash flow issue. I have a style in mind. Finding them in my 5x108 bolt pattern is the problem.

Getting it low. Air- ride will probably be the last thing. Or next to last thing to do. Its between suiciding the rear doors and paint or air-ride last. Bodywork and paint is going to run me $4000. The air-ride will run $2500.

Thank you for the tips. The LS is a work in progress. It will get there.

Suspension FIRST. Seriously. That alone will take your car up a notch. Then wheels, then any mods that require paint. The suspension itself will most likely require you to do some fender modding as well as the wheels to get the fit you will want. Why do that after you paint only so you have to paint again?? Doesn't make sense...trust me.

I assume your talking about that "Lincoln Jealous" guy? Hes a tool. He is lucky he lives 1000 miles from me. If he lived closer, I would be paying him a visit. Afterall, I do have his home address, cell number, and already knows what he drives. Hes got a beating coming. I am not the only member on LVC wanting to grave his face in.
