I am still in process of building a VIP ride and was wandering if people follow u and how not to get jacked.......

If your gettin followed, I dont think your gonna see your car in the morning. :shrug: Just sayin.
Double back twice, if they're still following you..drive to the police station. Then I'm pretty sure they won't follow you anymore.

Juss dont be scared and dont give a fuk haha you should be the one people think they are being followed by. And lower your car enough so its a pain for someone to steal your rims. Trust me not a lot of people are going to try n steal your wheels if they know its gonna take em forever. If you are going to build up a car you are going to attract attention some how no matter what; juss sayin.. so if you cant deal with haters and having the paranoid thoughts of someone messing with your car every night then this isnt the kind of lifestyle for you. I have been followed a few times since I have finished my swap. Best thing to do is NOT to go home OR to a friends house. What I usually do is take to the highway and get away from them. Then when I see it's safe I take the back way home.
They are just trying to see your car more... sometimes they can't believe that they saw what they saw... I used to get followed all the time... I just hit them with the reverse HIDs and let them know that I see them too... I never had an issue... if they want to take your car... they will eventually, no matter what you do... Like everyone said... just make it more difficult for them... My car was always dumped to the max that not even a tow truck could get it... I also had a kill switch for the air ride that only a little wireless remote can activate... Just build it... when you have rare enough stuff on your car... it's really difficult to steal and resale specially in this internet world... That's why they have resulted in stealing factory wheels...

I like to think I’m paranoid in a good way. not I’m going to freak out if I feel someone is following me or something but more like Im always keep an eye out on my surroundings, constantly checking my rear view mirror for any suspect cars or activity. Never been actually followed but if I feel I am I usually take a longer way home and definitely never pull into my driveway until i see it's clear. Ex-honda owner habits I guess lol
i always carry my glock when im out in the sc. im always paranoid when i stop for gas. you cant be too careful.

Don't think I've been followed by anyone. Not that I'm looking anyway, I scan my rear-view for cops every time I roll. But Hawaii is different, people usually don't shoot people out here, so if I'm being followed I would pull over at the next stop and see what happens. If they want to take my car then they gotta make a move and we going scrap. If they just want to check it out, then thats cool. But I can see how it would be different on the mainland where people shoot. I would probably roll around strapped too. Best thing to do is get insurance and don't sweat it. Thats why we have insurance after all. If someone does jack the car, get the payout, and start a new project. Even if we step up to protect ourselves, we can't be with the car 24/7. Thats just how the game is.

I had my 500SEL broken into twice in plymouth off of 14th (they got my subs, cd player, a blanket, floor jack, 2 jack stands and some wobble lugs) and my Y34 got broken into just down the street from the same spot (they peeled the chrome off the sides of the car, kicked in my rear bumper, fucked up the window molding, ect..) Yeah, people dont follow me to much. Just the police too. But once they realize who it is, and I am driving something they have not seen they turn off or pull me over and be like OH sorry.. Whats up? haha I had a guy knock on my passenger side window trying to get me to roll it down. I was on the phone in the middle of slow traffic on i5 in my S14. I couldnt roll my window down so i took shoulder and drove away lol. Guess its not very common to see a done up kouki s14 thats rhd.. probably wanted to know if it was a skyline like everyone else..

if somebody is following you, you are doing it wrong. its rare for a car to even pull up next to me at a red light, they normally stay back. but i dont live in a big city. they should all be very scared

Actually that picture was taken from a pretty good article, explains a few things I did not know.
No one has ever tried to steal anything from me by following me but they wave me down to ask questions about the car ... Iono I am not to paranoid ... this car is insured
