In the past few weeks I have come across a few tastefully modded vehicles, a Cadillac with some amazing poke, a vip inspired corolla, and last but not least the most beautiful JDM kitted del sol! lol....... enjoy.

The paint job on that corolla is hot hahaha

Pokin out slabs are at every light here in texas.  Theyre on everything from old buicks to benz CLSs, possibly the worst application for them lol. Ill see if I have some to post in my photobuckst.

yeah most of them mainly houston beaumont and port author have swangers and 5th 6th 7th and 8th wheels hanging off the back. One guy here in beaumont has a tsx dumped on superpokers ill get a pic if i can.

i was gonna say that dude is a long way from tx. belts and buckles on the gorilla pokers. mayne!

You've seen the CLS's? I thought it was just a myth until I saw a black CLS. Almost hit the curb when I saw that. Wifey saw a candy red one with the swangas....lol

The CLS does exist. I have a pic I will post.  I also seen the candy redMas on swangas haha. A lot of them are alief cars too lol.

That shit is turrible, absolutely turrible!!! The one I took a picture of had Texas plates, it also had a chromed out grill bashed in like he ran into the back of someone. The Beemer is horrendous, a tree needs to put that thing out of its misery. I thought that the cast chrome 22" one piece wheels around here were bad but these just take the cake. I love Texas hip hop and always hear them talkin about swang and bangin' but I can t dig it bro!

nothing new about this, it's just a houston thing (has caught on in other parts of tx and la). the originals are from '83 and '84 cadillacs and they've been getting play down here since at least the early 90s. they used to be exclusive and cats would actually get jacked/killed over them. a nice set could catch $10k on the streets.
 
recently, a company called texas wire wheels made replicas and even further extended centers (super and gorilla pokers).  they are poorly made (even the originals were only good for so long before they started to "clack") and so cheap that everyone has them now.
 
i'm not big into slabs, but there are some nice enough examples. this is just gross misuse of the style. like bun said 10 years ago:

I can dig the old slabs, the originals...but it just doesn't flowo with the modern style of the cars.
