stretch tire question

i currently running 20x9 - 245/35/20 F and 20x10 or 20x10.5 don't remember - 275/30/20 R. i want to go stretch should i go with 235/30/20 F and 265/30/20 R? This will going on a 98 LS400 w/ bags. thanks

Go 215 front and 235 rear. Will look awsome

Check the stickied thread for tire stretch pictures.   265/30/20 is not much of a stretch on 20x10.

I say it depends on what offests you will be running and camber...if it is very minimal camber I'd go 215 up front as it will give more stretch allowing u to go lower without running risk of rubbing...if you are running more camber, you could go 225, but 225 on a 9 is very little stretch (there is some stretch but not much)

It also depends on what tire you have some tires have really round sidewalls ie Vredestines, and nangkang so my 225/30-20 might actually look more stretched than some 215 on a 9

yup the size that works best, can really depend on the tire brand/model you choose. they all fit/stretch differently

yeah i recommend u go 225/35 also.. if i am correct, they dont make 215 in 20s bro

im on 225/30 in front, and i cant even drive out of town..
(im afraid of hitting uneven pavement) rim hits hard bro :pat:
im on 20x8.5 in front running 40 psi

I ran 225 30 20 and 245 30 20, but prepare to pay the price. I would recommend 225/35 up front bc with any camber on a 30 your inner will be less that 3 inches from the pavement.

225/35 front and 235/35 rear just be safe.. Any skinnier you have a greater chance ur rims will be bent.

I definitely agree with him.  30 seems super thin..  i would go with 235/35 rear..
