Best dark color paint

Looking to paint my car soon, but I haven't made the final decision in color yet.  I'm looking toward like dark purple/ blk cherry look.  I don't want straight up blk or blue.  I want to look good and create some what illusion LOL..  I'm open to any paint color ideas and color code if possible.

I was considering that since it is the flagship color of lexus :), 2011 RX has that color now..

"best" is extremely subjective..

I dont think lexus ever had midnight blue as factory, i think it was custom paint.  If wrong, please inform me with the color code as I'm highly interested in that color.

i like their kbp better as a blue, but its not a dark color :P

depends on the car to me.

I'd do a Black Base with a Purple or Blue Pearl.

Im in the same boat, Im looking at dark purples since my interiors red and not much goes with it.

dark purple/eggplant colored cars have always been a private fetish of mine!

I've always really like Nissan's midnight purple II.

^^ that midnight purple is lots of ppl top choices in paint color.

I have a bit of a thing for Porsche's recent metallic brown, but it might not be dark enough for you:

Otherwise, I also really like the Holden's Soprano Purple...
