the meet has always been on friday ever since they started it. ive gone every year since i was in high school. they have the meet and dyno day on friday, drag race on sat, sunday is some roll racing and road racing if im not mistaken (i never go on sundays)

Oh ok... So the usual frankensteins meet on Saturday is going on too? Cuz I've gone the past 2 years and it gets pretty packed on Saturdays.. I never knew they did it on Fridays.. That's why I was kind of bummed lol...

met some friends up lol... they were almost done so went accross the street to saigon buffet... killed it haha

usually hit up tan tan in the evenings.. didnt make it out on this trip..

hit any of the houtex locals. the food game here deserves so much more respect than ocean palace lol.

of course everyone's opinions differ, but off the top of my head, seoul garden for kbbq, com tam inside hk4 for vietnamese rice plates, saigon pagolac for 7 courses of beef or grilled it yourself plates, hot pot city for hot pot, wild cajun or boiling crab (if you don't mind an hour wait) for crawfish, i prefer sinh sinh to tan tan. kim son fountains for dim sum, pho saigon on beechnut for bun bo hue, dons or alpha bakery for banh mi...

i could keep going on, but i won't. lol

holla at me for 3 - 4 star restaurants if you want to take a girl somewhere nice. i basically planned out a vday for lils a couple years ago. :biggthumpup:

i'd eat jolynns more often if it weren't byob and if they had more than JUST crawfish. that shit used to go hard back in the day when it was 5 minutes from my house on 529 and eldridge though.
