Thanks everyone. Sorry about the bad pics, there is not much room in the shop to take real pics. Dont mind the front wheel gap, That will be cut in half once my insurance springs come from japan.

No coilovers? Air?? Might want to consider coilovers at the least, so you can set the wheels exactly where you want them in relation to the fender...

Im not arguing. I wasnt going to put the wheels on til april when I get air but a combination of me having to look at them in my basement daily with the fact that I had gotten to an accident and needed to repaint my fenders helped me put them on now. Might as well get the fenders pulled. I did anticipate a larger fender gap since im jumping down from 20-19 but with the winter here already, I think I will be just fine with the springs once they arive. I have alot of other goodies coming in the next month. :smitten:

Yea the east has been slacking. I dont think it will become too popular here due to the roads and people being scared to stretch tires and slam their cars 

As for the kit, I would like to go with Auto Couture so I can get brownie points but im not ruling out Mode parfume since it looks good on darker cars. If its one thing I learned, the suspension must come first ;)

Its not going to be a crazy widebody with plastic work on the bumpers. It is just going to have the fenders pulled the shlt out of them and some plastic work done to the rear doors. Im going to go take some more pics of the progress in a few. If I have time before work, I will post them.

What was the wheel/tyre specs again? I think i remember you saying something about being worried that you would bend a rim with too much camber... I dunno but that stretch seems to be one of the most extreme i have seen; i'd be more worried about that.. Looks like you can see the barrel of the wheel!

I believe the front is 245/35/19 on a 10.5 wheel on good years and the rears are 275/30/19 on a 11' wheel on michelins.  Yea its pretty extreme from NYC, the attention it gets is crazy I guess its a combination of the pulled fenders, wide deep lipped wheels and the stretch, all things u dont really see in NYC

Strange, it looks like so much more stretch than the tyres sound... Maybe its just the design. Do you get any trouble from the police for that much poke? Out here thats like a huge No-No...

Yea they are really stretched for those sizes, you can actually see some of the barrel of the wheel in person.  Cops pull me over alot and just ask questions about how I am holding a beed and how I dont mess up a rim.  They really dig it but they initially pull me over thinking there are guns in the car.  My car got searched like 3 times so far and I didnt have it back for that long

THe tires are dunlops, I checked again.  One of my fronts is a goodyear but it is not stretched nearly as much as the dunlop of the same size on the opposite side so it is the tires.  Dunlops stretch beautifully.  I think I am going to stay with this brand of tires when I have to replace them.

lol @ the Throwback thread bump.  The sizes of the wheels were wider than I had though thats why the stretch was so extreme

I got the work done in Queens at Nationwide painting.  The shop I recommend is in Upstate NY like 4 hours away, Dreamakers Kustoms.  Thats where my whole crew goes, its worth it.  They do clean work with very little filler.  Everywhere else I been to, adds a shit load of mud that eventually cracks which is what happened to me 3 times

What size were those rears anyways? I saw the 275 on 'em and thought about the 285s I'm getting for the 13 inchers and :runcoold:
