Need help finding a thread

Ive been searching for a thread I read about someone on here modding their stock LS430 Ultra suspension.  They modded the OEM shocks to accept a standard 3/8" fitting and put an aftermarket compressor and tank in the car.  The car still had the stock sensors working to level the car.  I cant seem to find the thread and wanted more info on the setup.

Thanks.  Not exactly what I was looking for though but still some good info in there.

Basically want to know how I would go about modifying the stock air suspension by bypassing the stock compressor and valves.  Reuse the stock air struts and sensors.  Not sure if this is possible but thats what it sounded like the guy did.

I think I may have found the person I was looking for.  Im trying to contact them to get more information on the setup.  Thanks for the help.

Ill post up as soon as I hear back from this member and verify I have the right guy.  Its kinda weird but I found out who it was on CL.  He is a member here too and I know I saw the thread on this site not CL.

i believe racingstylez (anis) did this. from what i recall it didn't work out well and he ended up going with uas before he sold the car.

That is who I contacted. Im still waiting to hear back from him to see what he did and how it worked out for him.  In my searching I also found another person who did this mod.  I contacted them as well to see how they did their setup.

Ok I heard back from RacinStylez on his setup up.  Seems it worked but in the end he went with a complete aftermarket air system.  Seems the stock struts are not up to the task.  So in the end dont waist your time or money to do the mod.
