Liberty State Park mini-meet in Jersey City, NJ

Trying to get a mini-meet going for all the M guy's.
 
The meet will be at Liberty State Park in Jersey city, NJ on April 10 
 
Park has lots of room (6 diff parking lots)
Great for pics
Bathrooms
We can even get a BBQ going.
 
It's also easy to get to, exit 14b New Jersey Turnpike.
 
It's the 1st exit on the Turnpike if your coming out of the Holland Tunnel (NYC)

excluesiveonez it's great that your coming down to hang with us, would you be coming in a M? I'm trying to only keep a list of the M owners.

How many M's live near you? Maybe they can also drive up with you.
 
We made it on Sunday because most have that day off.
 
 
For those that are coming with girlfriend, wife or kids this park is pretty big with lots of grass area.

You might want to bring a beach chair, volleyball with net, soccer ball or football. I might bring my 2 girls with me. I think I'll get them a pair of kites. [IMG]http://forums.nicoclub.com/images/smilies/chuckle.gif[/IMG]

I took a ride in the M today and went to see the park. They had a BMW meet and it looked like they had about 100 cars. Looks like they had a great time even that it was 36 degrees and it was very windy.

I hope we get a nice day in the 60's and no wind.

I aint got no M but i will come through to see some M's!!! are you gonna have a non "M" parking section??

Funny u say that cause i seen a old school beemer slammed n streched on the way to work coming from staten island going to jersey i figured he was going some where.

This is open to all cars from what i've heard.

I'm just trying to keep a list of the M's, as you can see not to many of us.
 
We will have other cars than Nissan/Infiniti coming down.
 
might even have a few VIP cars.

Probably ride up with one of the Liberty Guys to do some meet coverage.

i dont have an m but i got a g. i might come out to check out some nice cars!

 I'm sure i saw a few of the older BMW at the meet, most came off the Turnpike.

Looks like Sunday April 10 will be a very nice day.

I just looked at the weatherbug which is best in this area and it shows to be 65 degrees with no rain.

So the meet is on and will start at 10am.

I'll also start a list for those that would like to bring food or drinks a little later.

We need all the M's we can get, stock, modded & vip

I plan to be at the park for about 4 or 5 hrs, even more if we get a good turn-out.
 
Lets hope the weather stays clear.

Meet will start at 10am at 2nd parking lot as you come in to the park.

For those that are coming from the south or west or even NYC should try to set up a spot along the way so that you can ride down together.

Most have asked me what to bring to the meet, thats up to you to bring what you want. 

I'll start this list so everyone could add what they are taking to the meet:

BBQ grill with 1 bag of charcoal, 50 hot dogs with buns, ketchup & chili, 1 case of bottle water, 2 cases of soda and a few bags of chips.


Guys don't forget the football, soccer ball, volleyball and net any other things you guys might want to bring. Beach chairs & throw down blankets will come in handy for those bringing family.

everyone should exchange their cell phone numbers just in case one needs help or is lost.

I'm trying to send out as many PM's that I can, I need all the M owners that are coming down to let me know so that i can add you to the list. I have a few on my PM that are pending.
 
This meet has been posted in 3 different M forums. It would be nice to get 15 M's together which looks to be a big task. We do have other makes of cars coming down.
 
Looking at the food list we have a BBQ going on for-sure.
 
To the camera pro's, please bring your camera's we'll need lots of pics.
 
Exit on the NJ Turnpike is 14b, everyone should try to make it to the park by 10am. Meet will be at the 2nd parking lot, 1st parking lot is for the boat trailers.
 
I ask all to spread the word to all the M owners (stock or modded) as we are a small bunch, I need all the help I can get. I also hope we get a few VIP cars.

I just finished getting everything ready, all I have to do is pack the car up and make 1 stop.

for those that are bringing soda, water or other in a cooler make sure to stop and get ice before you get to the park. you can't get any at the park.

don't forget the camera's.

It was great meeting everyone, I had a good time. I left the park at about 3:30pm. Everyone was full and the chili finished.

I want to thank all those that took time and made this mini-meet happen, especially those that had to travel for a few hours.

and a big Thank You to those that help with the food & drinks in order to make the BBQ happen. And cuzin JR was a great help being the cook.

It was a great day even that the sun didn't shine thru the clouds, most important very little wind and no rain.

I hope we can get more M's together in the future meets as we are a small bunch and if I can make it I'll bring more chili.
