Stopped caring for social networks after having a myspace I never used. My girlfriend has one and it's pretty much what Blitz said. I'll pick up the phone if I want to know what someone will be shitting out after dinner.

^^^lmao, deleted mine a while back too, too too much trama-drama.

I try to live a very simple life...  luckily I don't have the drama on facebook that people always talk about... *knock on wood*  if anyone on my timeline is all about drama, I ignore them.  I got better things to do than worry about other people's drama.  

I do like being able to say "chit chat" with people tho on a personal level.  

I always wanted to be approachable and not lock myself in a little box.

lol my personal philosophy is if there is any drama in your life, you are the one inviting it into your life. whether it be through your own personal actions or through the actions of the people around you. at the end of the day, it is what it is, why not enjoy the little time you have on this earth?

the part "you are the one inviting it into your life.." and "through the actions of the people around you" doesn't make sense.     I'm trying to enjoy it by weeding out the distractions and concentrate on my real personal life rather than other peoples lives and their digital personalities.

It's like having a second life or a second personality.

i just try to keep what little personal life i have out of it. for me it's really no different than posting on forums, just stuff that's not really thread worthy. that and s**t talking (my #2 hobby).

I think it's a fun way to keep in contact with friends that you might not necessarily be able to see whenever you want (like oversea's or in different states), and it's also a pretty good way to plan events. But it will never be a replacement for actually calling someone or hanging out / cruising with someone.

I think it's a perfect thing for people to ego boost and brag. When people check in and show pics of what they do every hour they are not at work. They would have to one up real hard if I turned up the updating volume a bit. 

But if they got low self esteme. That's fine, not everyone is perfect. But we still don't care what:
you ate every hour
where you are at every 20 min
what non sense you bought every day then complain about not having money
how it's drink night every night. Go to AA
your life sucks. Five minutes later looking up. Then back down again
oh it's sunny today it's gonna be a good day

my timeline is extremely boring...  I just post random stuff....  I do use it to a lot to kinda keep in touch with people that DO NOT have my phone number or personal email.  If I really need you to know whats going on, I'll call / text you directly.

Facebook and Twitter is just another place for me to just "blog and talk to myself" and hope that someone is just as eccentric as I am.  lol

you know what that reminds me off....  when I had xbox and played gears of war online.   I was in a room with I think a bunch of 15yr olds.   All they did was talk shit and cuss.   Worst part about it is that their reflexes are so fast I was dead before I got a shot off most of the time.    I am slowing down...ugh.

What ever happened to wanting to do better and buy a exotic? have we, as a nation stooped so low as to compromise and build what we have, and then dare say it is better? Sure it costs less and is faster, but does it make it better than what it beat?

i mean, don't get me wrong, i still have mad love for hondas. but they are NOT the greatest thing in the world. yeah its cool that you can make 500 hp on a 1.8L motor, but eventually you have to move on.
