Looking for advice for my build

Hello,

We are building a 2000 Honda Accord Sedan into a luxury/vip sedan for local promotions and etc. We are looking for ideas and any advice we can get. Attached of a few photos. We haven't done much yet.

Wheels and suspension.

AirRunner makes a kit for the accord is you want air suspension.

Euro-R conversion maybe as well?

In order to make it look anything like a Vip Styled car you are going to have to above and beyond...

There is wealth of great examples for ideas on here so I hope you stick around. Read up on what VIP is all about then shoot. If you own the car; I would advise selling it to buy a X80 Cressida. If thats out of the question just strip the accessories you have including the tint. Then add a lip kit, suspension and wheels. A sick set of concave wheels and UAS air wouldnt be a bad start good luck Noob! As long you car doesn't look like something out of the Jada Toys collection like some people you will be fine.

Why would I strip the tint and accessories? I am planning to use it to promote the magazine at local night clubs, fine dining areas and local events and etc. This will be used in promotions to draw crowds to local clubs and etc.

So why a Honda Accord??

because it was affordable at the time and I've always been a Honda fan. I enjoy this car. Its comfortable and good on gas.

this hobby is usually anything but affordable, lol. 

good on gas? i'm assuming 4 cyl with 4x114, you're gonna have fun looking for wheels.

but if you're seriously dedicated to this style, just look around the build threads and search for inspiration. (no pun intended)

Actually its a ex model and is fully loaded with a 3.0 dpi v6 and 5 bolt rims. I do love the style and have some ideas but always open to more. Where can I headrest and visor monitors? What's a goof brand indash unit that I'd dual din?

Man don't take it the wrong way, but if you want a luxury/vip sedan, then you should start with a luxury/vip sedan. Since it sounds like you're looking for a classy, luxury, executive type of vibe, I just don't think the Honda fits. Sorry brah. But it is your car, and your deal, so you should do what you think is best. Stance, wheel fitment, fender fitment, interior/exterior work, and attention to detail is the name of the game around here.

Be advised that modding correctly to emulate the VIP style will cost.  Be prepared to possibly spend more on mods (not knock-offs) than the car is worth.  
 
If you're not ready for that type of budget, I would suggest staying with a "tuner" style that won't cost as much.
 
To be honest, fine dining and night clubs would be better suited with an older VIP platform with a good stance and ride height.

Or build a Tuner style car

Sure feels more like hondatech on here as the days go by.

Get some wheels that fit, properly and get the car as low as you can. Thats about as close as you're going to get to vip, whatever that may be. If it makes you feel better, I've seen 2 fwd hondas on here come up in the last couple of years that pull off the "vip" look better than half the cars on here and the black one posted above looks great as well.

Lastly, stop worrying so much about a label. Instead, do what you like to the car. Worst case scenario, when its all said and done, you wont have a vip car but you'll have a car you actually like.

One of the things I will agree with is "vip" + budget= does not compute.

i don't know a lot about this year accord, but i have looked for some stuff for a friend of mine. appropriate looking parts (or even parts that look good for any style) are few and far between.

additionally, i'm getting the feeling that you (op) have not grasped exactly what it's about. i may be wrong, but stop looking at the small details that may be in a vip car (tvs for example) and start looking at the overall style. it may not be what you're after anyway. the first steps should be very obvious.

i agree with what has been said a already. if it's luxury you're promoting an older ls or q45 model seems like a better choice.

as for the magazine, if it's wide open throttle magazine, (i'm assuming that's what it means,) then a tuner route would be a way to go.

-It's a Custom front bumper the guy named it "Ji-Cell" but it looks like a CF4 fog housing'lights  from the CF4 (SIR-T) Bumper onto a 01-02 USDM Bumper maybe coupe (I don't know)
-Honda Inspire Grill
-Creased hood (Right on top of the grill)
-Wings West Lip

Anyways,

If you want to do a VIP-inspired theme be ready for the money you are going to cash out to make it pull if off.

Going in with a "do it cheap mentality" isn't going to get you very far. This is not a honda or budget drift scene.

you'd be better off selling the car and buying something that's actually a luxury car if you want to exude luxury on a budget. but please, no tire shop special wheels. also, $1k for wheels and tires is not expensive, there are wheels that go for 2 -3x that much used.

im new but i think you can start with slamming it and some VIP wheels
