nothing major, just dropped a little over an inch on Eibach Springs and scooped up some wheels off of craigslist as soon as i got the car.

Wheels are 19" 3 piece Maya DTR 19x8 in the front, 19x9.5 +35 in the rear.

Wheels are not in the best shape cosmetically (up close haha), but definately an improvement from before.

future plans: Rebarreling the wheels and going wider, and restoring the "clear coat" on the finish. Ksport Or Kw Coilovers, and anything else i can think of along the way.

One question i did have.

I saw that Simple Wheels Werkz in Stanton rebarrels wheels. Does anybody have an address to this shop? Do they also repair wheel cracks?

i have a wheel that i just notice has a crack on the inner barrel and its leaking air pretty bad:sad:. im sorta on a budget right now since i am unemployed, but i wanted to get this wheel repaired ASAP. eventually i will rebarrel, but for now i need another cheaper alternative.

does anybody know of a shop that does good wheel repair for cheap near the OC area?

thanks in advance for any guidance, hope to learn alot here!

Sweet! I am jealous of anyone who has that body style E-class. I wish i bought one so long ago.

I like the wheels, but man.. ( and i say this cause this is my opinion, and what i would do) but amg monoblocks, all day. you can get replica ones in any size width. I can not get enough of that wheel, and it has been since 90s. If i had your car, I would have bought them in a heart beat, 19in silver. and 6 of them 4 to go on the car, one in the trunk, and one to sleep with at night.

i LOVE amg monoblock 2s.

i was actually gunna get a rare oem 19" set at the time i was looking for wheels, but they escaped my hand within an hour of finding them :(.

i actually might get an 18" +35 oem set soon so i can roll on them until i have enough to widen and refinish the current mayas.

but i defineately agree on the monoblocks being bad ass. another wheel id like to have are the 17" Amg Oz 3 piece wheels rebarreled to an 18" or even 19" if possible. in silver or polished out :P

Yeah! man see! haha. Not sure what it is about the wheel, but it is one of the most sought after oem wheels to date. So ahead of its time in terms of what we seek out today. So many wheels were spun off that design.

haha.. damn it.. since this, and (Nelson doesnt help either every time he posts i his sig.) I been looking at them I found some pics from way back in 98 when they did the w210 conversion on old 300s and CE's haha.. they had the 19s on them too. Which is where i fell in love with the idea of big wheels ect. I do not need another car.. but i do!

anyway.. Keep goin with it.

Stay away from Ksport, KW rocks!!! I would save and put good suspension on this. So keep with springs for now.

if only the monoblock ii's had a slightly bigger lip i would definately rock them.

KW seems to be favorable on other forums as well, just havent seen pictures where its completely dumped.

and just outa curiousity, how much do replica 19" monoblocks go for? i keep looking at the picture you posted and they look better an better every time i see them haha.
