Hello from Arkansas

Hey everyone, Hello from Arkansas. My name is Shannon (guy), I'm half Filipino and half American.
 
I came across VSC.com while I was looking for a LS400 for sale in my area.
Ever since I was a kid I have always been interested in cars and motorsports. I'm usualy really into Sport Compact cars but recently started looking into four door cars. 
 
I'm a college student, and a BJJ fighter. Currently I have a little mazda b4000 (ranger) and for the longest time i've always had an issue with carrying things or people in the truck, especialy if my younger brother or girlfriend is with me and my gear or books are with me aswell.
 
with this in mind, I decided to start looking into four door sedans that had good looks and decent power to them. I've wanted everything form Impreza's to SE-R's but I really got attatched to the VIP look when I saw a blacked out 98 Lexus LS400. I had always liked the LS400 but never knew the potential it had as a moded car.
 
so long story short, I WANT A VIP CAR, only issue is I only know of a few cars that work well with the VIP look. ex: LS400, GS300, infinit Q45/M45.
 
But I am not sure of what other options are out there for me.
I've searched the forums and found alot of inspiration though to be honest im not fully sure on what certain models are.
 
Any suggestions for good cars?
since my truck is a 98 I'd like to find something around the same age or newer under a $11,000 tag.

nissan f50 should be AROUND that budget...huge vip potential (obviously) and not very common in the states.

thanks for the info so far everyone. There arent alot of LS400's in my area, though i would love to have one im still open to different ideas. the only problem is, I dont know what types of cars are out there that can pull off the look nicely.  

I'm interested is the GS300, Is300, m/q45, bmw 3, 5, and 7 series. but other than those I cant say i really know what other platforms are availiable.

any suggestions?

any suggestions for some good platforms to look into?  i've searched for the LS400 and Gs300,  looked at the Acura RL, a mazda millenia for some reason. and the infiniti Q and M 45.

cant wait to find another car. ready to get rid of my truck and change over to something more my taste that will be an awesome project and have better use to me.
