WTB: Toyota Previa (modded or not) located anywhere from PHX to SoCal

Hello all,

I am finally looking to start on my Previa project, I would like to keep it around $3,000 or under for initial investment (if it already has some parts on it that I want - this would be up for negotiation). Or $2,000 or less if it is OEM in good condition. I would be fine with a nice stock van, but also don't mind picking up on someone's previous project (granted that modifications have been made tastefully and wouldn't be more work than building from OEM to get it where I want it). I would prefer a 94-97 S/C, (or 3C-T swapped if it's out there) with moon roof and sun roof. I don't care too much about the interior condition as I have extensive plans for the inside of the van. Paint can be whatever also, as long as it's not oxidized, as I will be wrapping the entire van and kit. Let me know what you've got, or what you've heard about! =)

Don't have the van but if you are looking for any JDM parts for it when you got it let me know we got most of the items in stock here in state.

You are only going to find high mileage Previas in that range. I.e. 160k-200k that's in CA but maybe Arizona maybe cheaper. When you're ready we are here to help u.

I found a $1400 96 S/C (100 miles from me) with 196k miles. 

Fully loaded, automatic. Says makes "[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Makes a funny noise at idle.[/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]" Paint is pretty oxidized; has mis-matched interior. "[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Automatic  transmission, Rear wheel drive, Dual Airbags, AC, and rear AC, Cruise,  Tilt, PS, PW, PL, AM/FM Cassette, CD, 7 passenger, removable seats for  cargo.[/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]"

What you think?

Uh oh... yeah I want it mainly for fun, mobbin' friends, takin little trips, and loading with in car entertainment goodies. ;)

I would stay away from the S/C models if possible they have problems with the supercharger leaking. If you have a mechanic or know of one, have them check the following before buying. Look under car if the valve cover gasket is leaking, check alll fluids (specifically coolant, tranny, diff, etc.), and ask when the last tune up was.

starter is shot though i cant remember the mileage but i think its under 150k?
94-95 if i remember correctly. Also doorlock on driverside is not working and side door has broken door handles
