Hello from vegas... Joining you guys soon

I joined the board a while back and pretty much just lurk. I currently own an s14 on wed kranze emr's. Ive been considering selling her and picking up a gs430 or just picking up a gs300 as a daily.... I love and hate reading this board as it keeps me so undecided.....

Heres my s14.

Will I beable to pull of 18's on a ufc21 or a 2nd gen gs? They are 18 x 9.5 +13 and 18 x 10.5 +5. im about to have the faces polished out so they will be fully polished. I love the wheels, just worried they may be a little to aggressive for an ls400 or gs300 with out major body work or insane camber. I dont mind pulling and shaving fenders, I just dont to have to radius them just to get the rears to fit. Or just the fact of 18's being to small for a slammed daily driver.

Help me out guys. I can afford easily an older ls400 right now or I could sell my baby and pick up a newer ls400 or gs3/400. Im really torn right now as I love 240's but I also own a photography business and Ive be stuck stealing my wifes acura TL more and more, She wants me to finance a beater or some cheap newer car, but in this ecomoky Id rather not be responsible for another line of credit, im thinking selling my car and keeping the wheels. Or just pick an older gs300 or ls400 and just rolling that as a daily. On my weds of course.

LS on 18's. Looks good hella slammed with no body kit, otherwise might look too small. But also depends on the tire and wheel choice too.

Welcome and glad we can inspire you. We have a few projects in the works, so stay tuned.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. So without spoon feeding me LOL but what are considered flush offsets on an ls400/gs400/q45? They all have rather different body/fender lines. I would love to keep my wheels and reuse them on a future project. But being 9.5 +13 and 10.5+3 im worried they may poke a little much. Most of the ls400 setups ive seen are 9.5 - 10 rears in the teen offsets. How much pull would I need on a ufc21 ls400 as that is my preferred chassis. Or a y33?

W2VSC! Vegas boys are pretty deep and well respected by everyone here so your in good hands. Thats really clean Zenki you got there. If I wasnt in the middle of a build I would cop it from you.

Anyways to answer you question about fitment issues. Looking at your offsets you will definitely need work if you pick a JZS16. check rimtuck.com for reference. Well goodluck with whatever you decide to run with. Skip the payments it sucks from experience.

Well, I think those numbers you got look good and wont poke out a lot on a Lexus. Aggressive is key. Just a good old fender pull should do it. Gotta be carefull on those Lexus's, cause they tend to dimple when rolling and pulling. But to really tell you gotta test fit em and see. A good stretch on the tires would help out too. Keep in mind a Y33 can take a lot lower offset wheel than a Lexus, so you should be ok with the offset.

Welcome to VSC. Camber arms, toe arms and stretch the tires. You should be fine with a GS or a LS. BTW I got an extra Explosion kit for a GS ;-) lol
