Rebuilding Cusco Vacanza Coilovers for Previa?

I am looking at getting some Cusco coilovers for the Previa for $500 shipped, seems like a good deal, but the rears are completely blown. Is there shops that do rebuilds anywhere in AZ/CA? Would this even be worth the trouble? Or should I hang on to my money for now? The seller states that since it was so low the blown rears were not even noticeable, but I can't imagine it wouldn't have some bounce to it considering it had no rear dampening. Your thoughts?

Or could these work as a possible good start for a custom air-strut setup?

i say save your money and get some new ones. They have a cusco here in IL and i have asked them way back in the days about rebuilding my coilovers and they told me that all they will do is send it back to Cusco JP and have them rebuild them. the total cost for that ...... i rather get new or just go air.

Trust me, its not worth rebuilding the coilovers. However, i would recommend buying a new set. There is actually a ten set for sale on here...

Awesome. Kinda what I figured, thanks for all the input and convincing me to not do something stupid. Haha. Who is selling the Tein set? The ones sukoshiyoshi posted years ago? I bumped that thread today but not sure if they are still around.

I tried getting a set of Cuscos rebuilt for a customer and in the end they had to get sent to Japan as stated previously.   The cost was astronomical!

Word, def don't want to ship anything back and forth from JP.

The rear shocks are not for the previa.  Those are for the the estima with IRS.  The previa rear shocks are eye/stem.

Good lookin out normandie! I would have totally over looked that important piece of info, not sure why I didn't even think about that. :pat: Yet another reason to hold off for now. I think I will be more satisfied on air anyhow.

No is not all true.

The Rear Shocks (on your picture) are for the Previas with single wheel suspension, like mine.

This one with eye is for Previas with rigid axle.

Maybe there is a language barrier here...? 

But, that's exactly what everyone else said. I guess while this thread is still alive, anyone have cheap coilovers for sale here in the states? That will work with the live-axle 4-link rears?
