SC430 Build

Just wanted to share some progress pics of my build. Well the car started like this with just UAS and some wheels. Tossed the wheels with the "caca" fitment, loaded up in parts and got a Big Ass Hammer. Ill post more as the build moves on but you can check out my build on liberty-vip.com for quicker updates.

Tossed the wheels and picked me up this set. Weds Kranze Bazreia 19 x 10, 19 x 11.5 negative offsets all around.

Thanks fellas. The bumpers are getting worked on right now so I should have something shortly. Like Agi said the price is bascially how much work you wanna do. The guys at DK really worked with me so I didnt have to eat cup of noodles for a month =)

I need to get my fenders done now.  So nice.

Thats the perfect wheel for the car and the specs are aggressive but not over doing it.  It should have a factory style widebody appearance.  I really can't wait to see it.  This is going to be a great year for the north east

The Aimgain kit is already on the market and to me its the best kit out for the SC. That was actually in my plans for this build. But daipers and milk comes before the car so I have to improvise for now. Aimgain may be in future plans..

Not that one.
They have a new one being developed right now. Not out yet.
Not sure what's different about this kit though from the previous kit (does look the same in the front)

They look the same to me..I can't tell the difference. The only thing i see different is the headlights which makes the pic you show a 02-06 and the black one shown 06+ I need this!!!!

Man I've been waiting to see someone do a sc430! Imo, the best non-VIP platform ever. Have you seen the Lucifer kit on g-answer website?

I like the build.  I'm just getting my sc430 started too.  Let's see some pics of that Lucifer kit.

Car is almost there..Time to get it painted today. These guys at DK worked past midnight to get my car to where it is right now. I gotta give them props for that.

man, love the fender work.  paint looks good!  I wonder why the guys didn't backtape before primer...I hate hard lines...but that's just me being picky on how bodywork and paint are done.

2nd picture is DOPE!

This is easily my favorite sc of all time... no really.

I do wish you would focus your attention on those fogs down bellow, they really draw my eye in a not so positive way.  The rest of the front end POPS so much that im drawn to the only area that doesnt pop.  maybe just a clear lense/color match treatment could remedy it?  or maybe make it darker to add some more contrast to the front, either way i dont think you could go wrong.  again, my fav sc, just a small ass concern i wanted to comment on. :biggthumpup:

i think a front license plate would make the front bumper look better -- there's too much empty space between the vents imo

That interior is dope.  

I like the over all look of the entire car but something odd about the front bumper to me.  

Might be the grill painted or the part right under where the bumper is just solid/plain.  

Eitherway I know you mentioned plans of changing up to different kit so looking forward to that.  :biggthumpup:

I agree with you 100%. The fogs are :pat: in my eyes as well. Original plans was a full bumper replacement (Aimgain)  but things didnt work out as planned. It's a good thing though cause this will give me an excuse to keep building this car. =)

yes, the car overall is awesome, interior, bodywork, wheels, etc

I think just doing a frontend facelift will really make the car that much better. Headlights retrofit, grill looks funny white maybe chrome it?, and the aimgain kit!

Well people said the fog light inserts, headlights could be updated or maybe a license plate. I guess you can either count that as one or three however you want to look at it. I think maybe painting the inserts a different color to help with the contrast of the majority solid front end. 

I love the car none the less and the quality of the build looks top notch. That interior has to be the nicest and non cheezy(overdone vip) I've seen come out of a US vip style build.

I agree the front bumper where the plate belongs is just too much of an open space, but I really do hate the front plate =) I did think about painting the slits where the fogs are to break up the solid white front. (Color still unsure..flat silver perhaps?) In all honesty I do not feel the car is complete in my own eyes or how I pictured it,  but from where it has come from I am pretty satified with the overall results. I sitll have plans for it in the future. Keep the ideas coming!

I think matte/flat silver would be perfect. I don't think anyone feels their car is ever really done, but where it's at right now in it's stage and from what it sounds like you want to do..it's heading in the right direction.

^^^ride is official BUT fenders cheaped it to me. open triangle is too, too wickedy wild style. looks like a diameter stagg to me. back on topic - general's ride is in a zone of it's own. holding it down like a damn don corleone.

probably the only time i will ever say these words but this car definitely needs to be kitted. stock bumper just leaves too much to be desired. an open moth bumper will increase the aggressiveness 100x.

i say mod it and create an opening.

Yea i know :pat: Right now I have a lip molded on but I have some plans i thought about if I decide to continue to go in on the SC. For now im good. Im just gonna cruise around for the summer then if any changes it will be over the winter.
