tires

ok guys in look for new tires any recommendation on them? I am currently running Falken right now and they eat up pretty fast.

I've had my FK-452s for almost a year and have put on over 20k. I think I still have half the tire life on them. Make sure your alignment is always straight and your tires will last you longer.

I have air so not sure if alignment will work. I was thinking of getting flaken again. Its rides good just dont last that long i think i have about mayb 12000 or so on them. I'll look into the FK-452 thanks, any other tire you recommend?

Wow... I never expected life like that out of my tyres, even before i started running camber!

why not? properly aligned cars, even with lots of camber should get AT LEAST 15-20k out of a new set of decent none super soft tires...

Well, i'll put it another way. I dont [i]expect[/i] them to last that long, but if they do, i'll be pleasantly surprised. Its a consumable item, and even if they only last 6000miles, thats still cheaper than gas (in my case at least)

I'm not sure how it is down there, but I know lots of the Mercedes and BMW dealerships who offer tire coverage on their vehicles sometimes have singles or even pairs of tires with minimal wear that had to be changed out due to the opposite side or whatever that they'll give you or sell you for cheap. Might be an option if you're just looking for a temp or cheap fix.

Are you referring to me? I have no problems paying for new tyres. I have no problems replacing them every 6 months either. "you gotta pay to play" IMO ;)

haha, yeah, forgot what this thread was about. old days of hunting down cheap tires for spare wheels.
