Easter VIP Car Shows in Tokyo or Osaka

Hi guys, 

I am off to Japan for a 10 days for Easter and I was wondering if anyone on the forum knows if there will be any VIP Car Shows/Meets over the Easter break while I am there.

I will be staying in both Tokyo and Osaka.

I don't have a recent VIPCAR or VIPSTYLE Magazine so I can't see check if there will be any while I am there.

Uhm..this is Japan.  Easter is not a special time in Japan...haha.  In case you didn't notice there have been countless earthquakes and large tsunamis across Japan.  I hope this is to visit family??

There is a strong misconception about the disaster ...to my knowledge only north east was affected....

hey everyone I have been watching the news and well aware of the disasters that have occurred there of late. I have read travel advice from the Australian Government stating to avoid the North East but the rest of Japan I should take caution.

I believed Tokyo and Osaka would be relatively safe to visit?

Maybe I should cancel?

It's just really not the time I think.  Osaka will be fine, some parts of Tokyo are still a bit hosed.  But it's more of the fact that hey are trying to get things back to normal and I think you'd be missing out on a potentially better time..at another time.  

And juiced, it's the radition part that's been exaggerated.  Some parts of Japan just north of Tokyo lost power and had some damage.  North of that, yes it's a real bad scene.  Some of our friends' families were very effected.  One has yet to hear from her parents still up in Sendai...which really sucks.  They were cycling power blackouts at first, but it didn't last that long.  Yokota is still flying in supplies.  It's not something easy to just get over...their whole economy has been effected.

My Aunt & Uncle live in Tokyo and Thank God she took a trip to see my other family in Honduras  before everything happened but my uncle is still in Japan and he is ok but from what she told my mom was that the area she lives in was not affected.
