Turning the car, when you're in pancake mode.

So I had my air ride fitted a while ago, and I must admit, I haven't actually had the opportunity to drive the car properly on full low, as the rear wheels need a little bit of extra negative camber dialled in to prevent the tyre rubbing against the arch, but I digress...

As you can see from the pics below, it looks good on full low, and I want to be able to drive it at full low. But one thing got me thinking...how on earth am I mean to turn the front wheels without completely fouling the arch on the tyre?!

(and yes, I know it needs more flush on the front...25mm spacer is coming soon!)

Nice stance at 0psi.

Have you tried riding turning the wheel on full low and check clearance to fender?

I am sure that there are a couple of people who ride like that full static on coilovers who can chime in on what is expected at that height.

I tuck tire in the front and back on static and have no rubbing issues...(I went lower in front now)

It's kinda surprising actually, just test turn the wheels, and you might get lucky and clear

That's what I was thinking. Its like driving with no spring. I wouldn't recommend this unless you wanted to look cool driving into a car meet or something.

Yep, the upper wishbone does hit the top of the wheel well!

The psi according to my digital readouts are around 65-80 psi when I have it on the low setting, so i'll assume there will be a little bit of travel to make the ride...passable.

I wouldn't drive it at full low all the time, it just wouldn't be possible around where i live, and even on the motorways due to random dips, undulations and adverse road camber ready to rip my bodykit off! It's pretty much to look cool on occasions :D

I mentioned earlier, i've not actually attempted to drive it properly at that heights due to the rear wheels rubbing, (its the horrible screeching noise you get when rubber rubs against the metal eurrrrrgh), so once the rear camber is adjusted, i'll give it a go!
