i'm considering this for my q. did you run into any other clearance issues with the drivtrain? is this the original engine or a swap motor?

that wasn't really where i was going with that question. what i was wondering is if you had more room to raise the motor because of the swapped motor/tranny. 3" seems like a lot, especially in the tunnel. did you have to clearance any areas under the car to get it that high?

i had to cut out the whole tranny tunnel and reweld it back in and part of the firewall.

word... too much work for me right now, but i really only need .5-1". i'll see what it looks like when i replace the tranny.

its not my DD, its my race car, so it doesnt really matter lol. i have to wire it still and plumb it, so not in a huge rush

not my daily either but i'm not looking to go in that hard yet. hopin to get this beast on the road soon. i'm thinkin i can get .5" with no issues which will match the .5" my rear subframe will be raised.

yeah, i wa able to hit an inch without problems. but anything more than that was a PITA with the miata and the 302 drivetrain...so had to chop cut rebuild
