[I]We are going to be presenting the VIP scene as a family at Houston's biggest (and hottest) meet of the year, the All Team Bash. Everybody is welcome; whether you're in a VIP crew, own a VIP car but don't have a team, have a VIP car from another team, or are an enthusiast on the sidelines. Either way, come kick it with us.[/I]

[B]Location 1:[/B] Shell gas station @ Clay and Beltway 8. This will be the meet up spot for the (fashionably late) VIP car roll-in. 11:15AM-11:45AM (strict).

[B]Location 2:[/B] All Team Bash @ Bear Creak Park. Fun in the sun. Noon-3PM.

[B]Cruise:[/B] We'll be doing a West Side cruise. Route TBD. 3PM-???

[I]Volunteers/Donations needed![/I] What we need:

[*]Early set up volunteers (I want the area already set up when the cars roll in)

i'm not against the idea of skipping the cooking/eating and working a food stop into the cruise. actually i like the idea. what does everyone else think?

i think parking is determined by when you get there and what's open.

I think if we roll in early or atleast have the grill and everything set up by noon we will be good to chill out in the sun for a bit. The first year we got there afternoon and had nothing set up so the heat was pretty unbearable between 2 and 5.  Eitherway way I'm down, hopefully my car is ready by then.

word, my original plan was to get some volunteers for early set up then when we roll in everything is ready to go. if we cruise to a eat spot we could skip all that though.

I was just at Bear Creek yesterday for a fundraiser for Japan.  They rented out a pavillion for $125 for the day.   (I thought it would be good to mention this due to how many comments were about how hot it would be.)

naaaah nga, timmy chans ftl. something more central to everyone that would be going (hwy 6 / i10 area). that leaves 59 diner in katy among a few other things.

brothers pizza on i10 hwy 6? theres a bw3's, and spring creek barbecue near w. little york and hwy 6. big daddy's bbq on keith harrow and hwy 6. taqueria arandas on clay and hwy6. theres a pretty dope gyro place on hwy 6 about a block north of clay.

brothers is closed on sundays.

cheddar's? they got some good ass buttered croissants lol

ordering pizza wouldnt be that messy and affordable.  Little caesars or dominos is about $6 a pie and that should feed at least 3-4 people.

not a bad idea. 

although at the time of the meet its gonna be super hot, it would be nice to get out of the sun / heat for a while and cool off and grab a bite to eat and a few drinks.

i know a pretty good bbq place that does some good carryout deals. also know a sports bar in katy with great food if we did the cruise to eat.

no not yet, tony had to take out the whole wheel hub and bring it to his shop to removed it. he got it off, and just waiting for him to come back here so can get that installed and than we can finally test the wheels.

bush or hobby, doesn't matter. hotel at hwy 6 and i-10 would be best.

southwest only flies to hobby, continental only to bush. all the other airlines i've ever flown, have flown out of bush, so i don't know.

personally I hate flying southwest because they do not have assigned seating.  However, their tickets are a bargain.  I fly continental through IAH.


I may make it that weekend.  Just found out I may have to go out of town for work =/

southwest also stops to drop off and pick up passengers at almost every airport along the way if they can. I usually fly continental only as well.

The thing holding me up is this 7 series. Parts are coming from germeny. Once parts comes in, BAM! 460 in my garage. Then I gotta start saving cuz I'll be a broke mofo for a few months haha. If I get to come back, would I get to bring my car?

theres a wash it yourself place near the park on west little york & hwy 6, about a block east of hwy 6 on w. little york. it'll be on your way if you take 290. past the park about a mile or 2 if you're coming from i10.

I was trying to make it out to meet some of you guys but ran into a problem.

My driveway is very steep and I can't get off my driveway.   My car has not been driven since last year and since then, I installed a Wald kit.  The front lip sits lower and more forward than the factory bumper.  

I don't think I will be able to make it out.  I need air.

lol, that's what 2x4's and phone books are for. or if you're really G, take that shit off and put it back on once you get off the driveway.

pretty much anything sturdy and stackable will work. the trick is to create a gradual decline, no point of getting off the drive only to get caught on whatever you use to make a ramp. good luck!

take a more extreme angle. my driveway is vertical compared to yours.

I haven't driven the car since last year is because I have been doing little things to the car.   I used to get out ok but the lip kit (that I just installed) is the problem.  

I just tried the extreme angle thing and one of the rear wheels stopped the car from coming down.  I think the tire pressed up against the inner rear fender.  Could not move down or up.  I floored it and back into the garage the car went.

It's getting late, so you guys have fun.   Maybe, I'll get a chance to meet you guys at the next meet.

2x4 ftw. I'm sure if you have a spoter, you could do it. It's gonna suck for you because once you get it out, you gotta get it back in. :D My cousins teggy was low as shit and we used 2x4's and sheets of plywood. If there's a will, there's a way.

to post images upload them to a host (i use photobucket) then copy the [IMG][/IMG] link and poaste into your reply.

My name is spelled Tam.  No worries.
I never thought I would like that color until I saw it for sell one day online from Westside.  I thought, this might be different and a fell in love with the color.
Thanks for the tip on photobucket.  I will try to do the same with Flickr since I opened an account with them last night.

Let's try one more time.  I wished I would have taken more pictures but it was too hot.  I would go out but come back the the shade tree within three minutes.
