So I was finally able to pick up one of my favorite cars. Its a black 2000 LS400 with Ivory interior and Platinum package. It also came with 19" Bazo B52s. Runnings like a dream. Im planning on picking up a set of coilovers to drop her alot more. Tell me what you guys think?

Welcome! Nice find!
Got the same car myself. Any other plans?
I would suggest taking the plastic fender strips right away. They are notorious for causing rust. I found a very tine spot of rust starting under mine when I removed them.

thanks guy, this car is definitely better transitioning from fbodies. whats a good coilover kit to run? My other plans for the car is just detail it up a bit with a claybar and wax. I just wanna drop it for now while i save up for some wheels and tires. Cant really get an idear on what i want since theres soo many out there. I was also thinking about ordering JP curtains, and neckpads. Do you think black curtains/neckpads will flow well with the ivory and gray interior?

Looks like a good start. You have a few choices for coils; BCs, D2s, Megans, Tiens etc.

Most people are running the Megan LP's...The EZ's are a cheaper option though with slighty softer spring rates. I wouldnt waste money on the curtains or neck pads just yet. I would do trans flush, change the differential fluid and look at the bushings.

Megan LPs are best bang for your buck.
Do NOT do a tranny flush. Just drain & fill. Its been very well documented on CL that when you do a full flush on these cars there's a very high chance of tranny failure soon after. Buy 2 quarts of Type IV from Toyota/Lexus and just drain whatever comes out (ususally less than 2 quarts) and then fill'er up again. Do this with every oil change for a year and you'll have almost 100% new fluid.

Yeah ive looked at the megan lp2s and they look like the best deal. When lowering the ls400 on lp2s whats the widest wheel you can run without fender modifications? Because on my fbody I was running a 17x11 out back and had to roll my fenders and beat the inner wells so it wouldnt rub. Also how much would my ride quality and comfort be compromised?
And since I dont have the space or tools to do the tranny drain and fill. Would I be able to get that done at a lexus dealer along with a differential fluid change? Especially since im going to an oil change done there next weekend.
