y33 mascot install

hey fellas! my friend will be buying a used mascot for his y33 and we have no clue how to install it and if it comes with everything. Can anyone give some pointers?

that will help with the placement...as far as install i used 3M double sided tape when i had mine on my Y33 (i was a wuss and didnt wanna cut my hood) i had it on my car for over a year until i got tired of it and took it off

I cut my hood......it was the scariest thing I've ever done to a car LOL!

its just 2 holes to cut haha.....havent done my jp one eaither i aint doing it lmao. but i herd that 3m double sided tape is some sticky crap

yeah. 3M is holding my roof spoilers on my s14's.... LOL
 
and yeah. drillin is scary...i did it...but, its hella scary. measured like 50 times......lol

I just recently installed mine. I basically just made a template of the underside of it. I took a bun h of pics, I'll try to get pics up asap. It is a little scary drilling into your hood though lol.

btw so under the hood ornament you only put 3m tape or is there a screw below to hold it with the hood?

i also drilled through my hood to put mine on. looks clean with one on, everyone thinks your car is a mercedes lol.

There's a screw and a washer holding it from underneath Dranom.

^^that would b correct we put some kind of compound that got hard (I forgot the name of it)in it to keep it in place

and the 3M tape on the bottom (stayed on the hood for over a year), i removed with a heat gun with no damage to paint

the plus is if u ever get tired of it like i did you wont have a hole in your hood

What product did you use to glue the mascot to the base? JB weld?
Coz i thinking of using that
