F50 variances

While searching for cool things to put in my older f50. I find my self looking at newer ones for the updated bits.

So i am making a options and variance thread.

05 car
Apparently they no longer do the air duct in the front door to B pillar anymore even after 02?

the one with no wood wheel is the "sport" edition. highly doubt there is any horsepower difference, purely cosmetic with a different set of rims and a "s" after the Q45 emblem on the bumper.

I wanted one of with this exact interior bad :sad:. I ended up with a 06 M45 though.Almost same color combo :biggthumpup:

And yes, I LOVE my heated AND cooled seats / 04 M45.

The center console is the same on the Y34 and F50, I wouldn't mind finding one of those with the chrome accents....  Nice thread.

Bringing this thread back from the dead. 

The firebrick seats shown have the controls in the seats for the heat and the cool. I have seen one with out it and in the console. I take it is only for the cool seat function. Hence the perf leather. Does anyone know what the "option" package is for this? I am very very tempted to go for gold and buy it.

I am also planing on redoing my interior but more so in adding more foam and padding to give it a "bucket seat" feel...

Yeah, it is super rare for that color. All the more reason why I want it. Hmm, do i paint the car that blue, or should i keep it black, or maybe a pearl white.. with that interior... HMM!! lol

1) I think they must have taken them out on the 05-06 models my 03 had them(but dash wasnt from a premium, so no duct to conntect to door) and my 04 has them, but thye arent that strong(ive been thinking of maybe adding an extra fan in them, long travel thru the doors). Infiniti porbally got tired of people complaining they cant feel anything(y passagers have)
 
2)Strange it still has the cut out for the vents(prehaps the JDM versions still had it)
 
3) i see [I]metal [/I]knobs, which all 05-06 had.
 
4)Sport model as someone pointed out.Also shift knob is leather(had rear wheel active steering, different wheel, throttle and supsenstion tweaks, sport rims and NO PREMIUM OPTION(otherwise would be PERFECT)
 
5)I had silver clock in my 03(but dash was def out of another car) and my 04 it is black, reg plastic knobs
 
I want all the options the PGF50 has. I found a russian website that list all the parts for sale, but something as simple as the passthru cousion is $1500. Imagine the whole thing! I think we could mount the center console from the president though, that cousion comes out bettween trhe two back seats, and im sure there is wiring somewhere. Someone find a Japanese junk yard that has the PGF50s! I want my headrest to conture my head by button and tilt the angle of my back screen..now!

One of the reasons i had to come back to the Q, even though its much easier to get on a newer car, I felt this car was way ahead in thing like this. The PGF50 has them ventilated in the back in too! With Massage!
 
Damn America and buying the blander Q ships...

The fan idea is a good one!

These are my cons about the car:
I wish the dash was leather as well as the door not just the trim.
I think the door insert is cheesy and feels light and airy like.
I wish the steering wheel center was leather 
steering column cover feels to plasticy 
The center console lid squeaks back and forth when nudging it. feels cheap
I wish it had real rain sensing wipers not just slow down with vehicle speed
Trunk space is good, but could be better
Happy they went to a plastic tire cover with cargo area instead of cardboard one that bends
Wish the headlights worked as well as they said they did, cant see anything on a dark rainy night with no streetlights.
Back up cam needs to be convex, maybe updated on newer ones
Newer bumpers need the same trim on the door, not just a thin chrome strip that costs a million dollars to buy
Rear center lights on 05up need to be regular running light as well as a rear fog lights
Floor mats need to be nicer, may have changed later on.
I wish the key ring area lit up
I would have liked the rear seat to have a stationary console anyway cause rear recline seats dont need a third seat area.
Wish front sus was like y50s and 350z's
Been nice if the cats didnt hang so low below the frame rails, more so than any other car.
Front seat adjustments are too hard to get to, door panel makes them difficult to reach
rear door pockets are to shallow and narrow to be worth a shit

Have you looked into the whole system? u can only feel it CRANKED up(though maybe its better in summer)..i want the rear coooled seats from the JDM version :(

i looked at the key ring, it does light up, just was disconnected for some very, very odd reason lol
