so, this is the build on team omega's infinti q45 (nissan president) circle track car. I decided to put it here because its a little different and i like this site. so..........

First things first is buying the car, but, any help on anything. i.e. alignment settings, weight ballasting, and everything else would be greatly appreciated. The class we are running has a lot of limiting factors as it is a mostly stock class. But, time to bring some infiniti/nissan love to the circle track!!!!!

if you have some or know someone with....we will need some inexpensive:15x8 steel wheels. lexan. hood pins. a better cooling fan (but must be a stock fan, cannot be "high performance"). a good high flow filter. slotted rotors as "drilled rotors"  are not permitted. a head and neck restraint system. some SFI gloves. 2.5lbs fire extinguisher. 12 gal metal fuel cell with 4 1" straps. 

thats pretty much it for now...we on the look out!!

so really you are just fishing for parts?:shrug:

I'm building this car with some friends, and gunna post on here about the build. (if thats cool...if yall are interested....) and if someone has any of the stuff we need or want, and they dont want, why not sell it.........:shrug:

i doubt you'll have any luck on the fan since the stock is mechanical. iirc the oem filter has been proven to be the best available (a lot of tech info on nico), cone type filters do more harm than good performance wise (i have one anyway). oem bbs option wheels are very light and forged. z32/z33 brake upgrade may be an option.

wait.....your oval track racing a q45? :shrug: Isn't there better cars fit for this out there?

yeah. the plan is to oval race a Q. is there better cars? maybe? but why not use this one. in the class all they have is domestic old v8's. the q on paper is better than them. more power. wider wheelbase. enough aftermarket support.
 
just right now we are low on funds...as is everyone...so this project has not commenced. it will asap though. 
 
recently purchased, coilovers, vinyl cutting machine, fender rolling tool, and wheels...so, money has be diverted else where to try and fund this project........and also to work on my drift car....

Well, this is different nd interesting... you'd definitely have more luck finding parts on NICO tho, GL.
