It will work if you are using an aftermarket headunit with rca outputs and you will also need harness adapter.

^ I used that exact harness to install my deck. Worked perfectly. Massive improvement in sound, as I bought a deck that had a multi band EQ. Stock speakers and amps are more than adequate, just need some fine tuning.

not many harness adapters work with oem bose systems. they may give you power/remote/ground leads for a new headunit but thats probably it.

It is rare, but in the specific case of the Y33 and that exact harness linked, it worked perfectly.

it worked perfectly? like no amp turn on/off pop? any highpitch noise coming out of the speakers at freeway speeds? how about volume control, too sensitive or not sensitive enough?

its very rare that factory amps integrate perfectly. good news is that if you do have any of these problems there are usually ways to get around it.

Thanks guys... but now I got a prob! I got the 70-7551 my installer pluged in harness, the rca jacks went to eqs746, and sound is so low that when h.u is turned all the way up system sounds like its on 10. Sounds like garbage!

bypass the factory amp. if you want it to be louder than the deck itself can support then get a new amp for the speakers.
