i personally had them. They did what they were supposed to do but the quality of the product i have to say wasnt worth a fuck. THe coilovers were just really bouncy no matter what setting i put it in. Anyways if you are refering to the cup kit that is the one i had... it wasnt all that!!

NO NO lol i said it was set up alot better (proper way) after jtran.... GFC fucked it up..bottoming out the coilovers and then airring up with the cups... that was fAIL.

like i said it did was it was designed to do.. but quality of the product was not there.

On your behalf more than anything, from the get go I didn't think you understood how those kits work. You bought something and you didn't know how to use it. I'm having a hard time believing Dan couldn't handle a coilover install since he set my coilover/bag set up with no problem and Joe's coilover/cup set up.

They "bottomed out" the coilover because they thought you wanted it as low as possible. if you knew the way the cups worked you would have simply taken the wheels off and raised the perches yourself. instead you took it to jtran and he did the simple task while making you believe he "set it up the proper way."

your coilovers are single tap with bags so there's really no way to mess it up, but from past experience i bet if i got under there i could make it better. joe's coils/cups were set up wrong (in more ways than one) as well.

not saying you general point isn't valid, but a quality installer should know more than the average customer.

i've seen dan/brandon/gfc's work on some customers cars and lets just say.... i was surprised people paid what they did. those looked more like "lets hook a homeboy up" jobs than the actual service they were advertising.

i can safely say i agree with your first and last statements although, he bought the kit because everyone else that had it at the time was set up by garagefloorcrap the exact same way, to lay out. they were all told that they could ride the cups aired up by the installer.

joe's car was set up the exact same way when they did the work the first time, joe brought it home and had to adjust everything they did.

any and ALL work i have ever seen those dudes do looked like shit. like brain said, everything they did looked like they just hooked their homies up the cheapest possible way.
