Y34/M45 Gauge Cluster - Working Fuel Gauge!
Hey guys,
I got an OEM Gauge Cluster pulled from a 2003 M45 that I bought to test for the notorious faulty fuel sendor error. It turns out that it IS my gauge cluster that is faulty and not my sender, so I do not need this gauge cluster anymore. Mileage shown is 52882 and is in perfect working condition. The only issue is that the plastic shroud has a crack along the top which isnt visible once installed, but you can easily swap it out. If this matches your current mileage, this is definitely a cheaper fix than sending it for repairs!
Asking $100 picked up in SoCal (Torrance, CA) or $115 shipped to the 48 states.

GLWS I did the same thing, but I got a brand new zero miles one on eBay. Only thing I'll add to this is if you have an M with the "ICC" laser guided cruise control, it won't work properly with this gauge cluster, but everything else works right. When I would try to use it, the car would speed up and slow down over and over lol so I used it a few months while I sent my original out for repair.

^^^ Thanks F.L.S. I forgot to mention that it was for non-laser guided cruise control cars

So I am guessing this does not have the fuel gauge issue? Will it develop the issue?

This gauge cluster did not show signs of any issue in my car, and I thoroughly recorded my mileage over 2 tanks just to make sure....
I'm not psychic so I have no idea if it will develop the issue or not....I have no idea of how you would even test for "possible" failure on a fuel gauge...

Yeah I am not sure if you had reason to believe it could. Just thought I would ask. I am considering replacing mine but may choose to just have it repaired instead.
