Welcome, nice Q! If you need hood struts (judging the bat holding it up lol) look up Strong-Arm ones, they're great and cost less than 1/2 of OEM ones, I think like 60 for the pair.

piece of wood for me for the hood. lol\

are you looking more adjustable like coils and air/cups, or just going static.?

either way i think megan racing may be the way to go.
cup kit local would be platinum vip cups and they cam run on coils. or if you go uas they fit over megans as well. and the vendor sessions on here sells the pices you need to put uas bags on the megan coils.

hope it helps and welcome.

You cheap asses lol. Here, 40 bucks for two of them, you can't beat that and nothing like a hood that holds itself up how it should. The OEM ones are over 100 bucks each. I put them on my Q, they were simple to install and worked great.

Why33 I'd say rims first, then work your suspension around them but then that's if your pockets are deep right now. Those hood struts are def. a bargain providing they last more than a couple years. Later.

Suspension is always first
Once your suspension is done and dialed in, your wheel options open up to an almost endless supply of options. Especially w/ the 33

Slammed ride is always better than a stock/donked out ride on shinny wheels

Those Stong Arm hood struts are better than OEM and will probably last 10 years. I had them on my Q for 2 years before I sold it, and they still damn near opened the hood by itself.

On that note, Y33 FTW, until you get a Y34 ftmfw  But for reals, as much as I love my Y34, I will always love Y33's.

Thanks. I went with PBM coils. Good coils but they installed mine lil bit too conservative on the front  but rears i dont have any problems. There's other options now for y33. I think megans and BC coils have the spindles already so you can save your self some trouble lol and you can save your oe susp just in case you need it in the future. Check out the other options and base your decision according to what your trying to achieve look wise and height wise. Goodluck:biggthumpup:
