Finally bought a platform!

I finally picked up a platform, sold my old GSR swapped Del Sol and Bought it with the cash from that.

Couldnt really find one in decent shape exterior wise or in the colors I wanted in my price range. But this will do,

But i picked up a 97 Q45, it needs some TLC. Mainly just a MAF meter, and a new secondary TPS. Besides that just a basic tune up and fluids flush.

My plans for it right now, is to just make it driveable. But i will throw on some Megan S14 springs, for the time being to get rid of the 4x4 stance. Rims will stay until i save up for another pair. They are some chrome Motegi racing ones.

Those rims are almost -not quite though- as ugly as the 17" chrome ASA rims that came on my Y33 back in 04 lol. The best thing you can do is paint the lower trim, it will make it look much newer, or get some really good plastic spray (Stoner makes the best shit out, but you gotta get it at a body shop).  Good pickup, you're gonna love it!

Also going to pick up a 99 Black/black Q45 parts car to use for my black interior conversion. Cant beat the price im going to get it for either.

So far i put in a newish/used MAF. it stopped the stalling and the wierd idle.

going to change the oil, and fuel filter this weekend.

but today was a good at the local pick n pull. Bought a set of OEM black floormats for $5 and picked up some TPS sensors, hopefully they last until i get enough to buy some new ones.

Update!

Lowered my car with S14 D2 Racing lowering springs. Pretty low, rides a bit bouncy but i can deal with it. Also rubbing on the fenderliners when I turn, so i plan to remove them tomorrow.

I want to do alot of maintance to the motor since it seems kind of sluggish, before I start to spend heavily on mods. But for mods I want to get some Y33 coilovers, so i can keep my front sway, maybe get some exhaust work done, and some minor things, while I save up for some wheels.

What suspension are you on?

Thanks I've been planning to add some 35mm all around.  Since there was a set of 4 that I passed up for $100. :/
