Need Help!! Megan Coilovers DIY
does any one have a DIY for the megan coilovers for the Y33? I've searched and it shows a member of this forum with the megan set up and its shows where he welded the CO to the spindle but I need a step by step on how to do it, where to cut and all that stuff.....Ohh and I plan to run some Lerhmeisters 18x10.5 -7 with 225/40 and 18x11 -13 with 245/35 Will I need any after market suspension parts or will I just make it with a pull? Any feed back is appreciated, help a newb out hahhaha...
thanks,

Keep in mind that your oem struts have pressure and oil in them, so until you relieve pressure and remove the oil... I would not use the chop saw right away. Maybe drill a small hole to relieve pressure then a hack saw to cut the top open to take out the strut shaft and oil. Clean out oil then use your chop saw.
Most likely you gonna need some suspension components. Camber arms toe arms. And of course the roll and pull.

you may want to drill thru a sturdy plastic cup and use it as a guard when the oil squirts out.

you dont have to drill a hole, the strut screws out of the strut tube. stick the whole assembly in a vice, take spring all that ish off, take a pipe wrench and unscrew that locking nut on the top.
