Luxury Abstract Stella-X preview

We just introduced you to the Stella, now check out its more aggressive and chiseled sister, the Stella-X from our Abstract line.

We understand that this wheel is not for everyone as are all our products in the Abstract line.  Those who like it generally love the wheel and thats exactly what we were aiming for.  We got a great overwhelmingly positive reaction when we debuted it at our booth at Summerslam.  More pictures coming soon

Sorry I posted on the other thread, I had seen the Stella X on the blog... but anyways, it looks awesome man... great job. U guys imitating snakeskin? or something along those lines?

A.Blanco, the detailed writeup is coming when we get a few more studio pics in different angles.

Long story short, it is not suppose to look like gator or snake skin.  For months we tried 20 different combo's to get it to look quilted but due to the lines and curves of the wheel, we couldn't get it to look good cause certain parts of the face would be left empty or wouldn't line up.  So we got out of that mind set and just went with the whole concept of the Abstract line, it doesn't have to be anything, its just art.  The lines are more uniform than animal print.  The way the face is convex and then concave at the center (similar to PhillyGS' Seiken Cups) it really makes the engraving pop in the sun

We were real satisfied with the drawing but we could see most people not liking it.  When it came in, I was as excited as I was scared to open the box.  I opened it and I personally loved them but still was hesitant to release it so early cause its a risky wheel.  I ran it by a few people who's opinions I value and they were saying that they looked "dope as f*ck" in person.

If 20% of people like them, thats more than we expected when we put out the wheel.  The love has over powered the hate so far.  You really have to see it in person to fully appreciate it

Everybody's infatuated with fat lips, lol... I love the pattern on the faces for sure... I'd rock these wheels wit the faces in gold. If I hadnt bought the T1Ss I've rocked this, no B.S.

I like diffrent & I'm feelin these :biggthumpup:  They would only look right on a certain build tho!!

Once again, this is from our Abstract line which most of the designs in it are far from traditional and aimed to set trends.  This is more for the modern Japanese style builds.  While it may seem extreme, it was a very calculated move through research of both Luxury and the Japanese scene.

Understandable and expected.  Most will not put these on a car but a majority will change their opinion on the wheel after seeing it in real life even if they never intend to run it on one of their rides.  

As far as just liking the fat lips, all our demo wheels have big lips since they get test fitted on cars with body work.  This one gets the most positive attention out of them all which even has me surprised since it isn't intended for everyone to like.

Thanks.  We can't wait to get some more demo wheels but in different colors including black, gold and bronze.

In the process of working with Luxury Abstract on a set of these in 20's for my W140 platform... Build should be under way in the next day or so!
