Mount your stock front bumper FTL. lol. I have seen some of the 3M at shows and it irks me when it only covers the front half of the hood. I would do 3M, but cut it with the body lines and what not. It is supposed to hold up for 4 years they say but with Cali freeways who knows? Can you elaborate on the protective spray a bit more?
3M scotch guard Clear bra for sure man. Im daily on the freeway commute with my car and since repaint no more chips at all with this stuff =) i only appiled it to the front aero bumper and left the hood bare . Dont worry about putting it on the unless ur behind semi trucks for rocks to actually reach that high

Is it the textured clear stuff or smooth clear and do they give you a warranty? Later.
Hmm, sounds interesting. I will have to see if my painter knows about this. I asked him about some of the textured spray to prevent rock chips under the kit and on the edges and he looked at me like I was high. He said he had a "thicker" paint he could put on. The guy does awesome work, but he wanted to use body filler to shave most of the holes on my car vs welding and smoothing...I will have to ask.
