New Member from NYC

Hey wsup guys?  I currently have a 2006 Infiniti M35x.  I recently graduated from college and landed a job so it's now time to mod =).  So far the only mods I have are the Z-tube intake, Megan Axle Back, 3k fogs, FX45 20's, added the trunk spoiler, and LED park/reverse/license plate lights.  The car is getting tinted tomorrow w/35% ceramics.  I'll be getting the OEM aero kit very soon along with the Megan mid-pipes.  However, when it comes to the drop I have no clue on what to get.  I'm not trying to get the air runner kit yet, I think it was $4,300 last time I checked and would require modification.  I was thinking coilovers but I have a very limited selection since I am AWD.  The only two sets I see still available are the "D2" and "K-sport" sets. . .neither of which I want to put on my car LOL (due to their reviews).  I know Megan used to make a set for AWD but that's about it.  I would go with the Megans but I can't find them anywhere. . .do you guys know of any companies that make a set for an AWD M35? Looking good my dude, welcome... get on the infiniti/nissan forum & you'll see an AWD model on K2 coilovers I think.

Nothing wrong with d2 coil overs. I had them and now blanco has them.  Trust me, you'll be very happy if you get them.  Don't believe most of what you read on the net unless it's firsthand experience.

As for air, you can get a UAS kit.  Air runner is too over priced.

Thanks. . .which would you recommend the K-Sport 2's or D2's??  I heard the K2's blow out very quickly. . .haven't really heard much about the D2's except for that they are exactly the same as the K2's just branded differently for sale in a different country. . .

Yup, that's the one man...

They're built in the same factory but that's it.  Completely different valving and specs.

So would you recommend the D2's over the K-sports?  Keep in mind I'm looking to maintain as much comfort in the ride as possible.

Is that a loaded 2011 QX56? That's the best suv on the road. I'll take that car over the M any day lol. Anyways welcome.

Yes.  My D2 coilovers were extremely comfortable.  LOVED them.

$82k? WTF!? A loaded QX56 at my working place is only $70k and that's here in Hawaii!

I would suggest you contact a vendor here .. to help you source a set out ..  WHY NOT GET AIR RUNNER :giggity:

Hey guys, sorry I been busy lately with work -_-  I think i'm going to go with the D2 coilovers, are there any vendors you guys recommend?  Looking to get them in 2-3 weeks.  I'll also be getting the OEM front lip next week.  I was also interested in doing a tune up with this next oil change, it should be coming up in about 300 miles.  Right now my car has ~56,xxx and with this next oil change I was going to change the air filter w/ new OEM filter.  Is there anything else I should do around this mileage?  I'm getting pretty shitty mpg around 11-13mpg LOL.  So i'm pretty sure there's something I should do lol.  What do you guys recommend?  BTW i'm using Castrol Edge Full Synthetic 5w30.

Hey guys I'm about to pull the trigger tonight and order the Megan LP coilovers.  However I was considering getting a set of BC coils instead.  I called them up and inquired about a setup for an AWD M.  The rep I spoke to said that they do not have an application for the AWD M's only because no one has ever brought one into their shop so they could take a look at it.  He said if someone could do that then they could def work on a custom setup for an AWD M.  I'm located in NY..BC is in Orlando so obviously I can't take my car into their shop.  I was just wondering if there was anyone with an M35x in the Orlando area who wouldn't mind taking their car into the BC shop???.....I know this is asking for a lot but if someone would be able to do this I would really appreciate it.  If not then I guess I'll have to go with the Megan LP's....either way it's time to get LOWZ lol...thanks in advance guys!!

...still waiting on the coils to get here...they were out of stock with Megan so I had to wait a few weeks...they said it should be delivered within the next 2-3 weeks
