Buying an '03 Lexus LS430 Monday...

I'm going to look at (and purchase, if it's as nice as it looks on the internet) a 2003 Lexus LS430 on Monday and I was curious if there are any major or reoccuring problems that these vehicles have that I should be on the lookout for. It's a Black Onyx LS430 with the Light Creme colored interior. Every option aside from the GPS :(. Just under $14000 with 98k miles. Sound fair? :)

I'm sorry to dissapoint, but that does not have anywhere close to every option.  I would still say that's a fair price for the miles that are on it though.

Really? I thought it was pretty well loaded. Hmm.. it's one of only two for sale within a 250 mile radius unfourtunately.. the other is a white 01 for $16k... 
 
What options should I be looking for?

I seen LS430s with lots of amenities including navigation & under 100k miles for under $12k... maybe some out of state shopping will suit you better... Texas... 
 
On a sidenote, I know u didnt say "fully loaded" OP, but I just love how ppl seem to throw that word around so freely when selling a car or on a new purchase, lol.

Great looking car! I found an 04 just down the street... unlisted, nice exterior ... dirty ass interior.. $24k :O

I don't really care for factory navigation, I plan on using the beat sonic kit and putting in a Kenwood navigation /DVD player

sounds fair for the mileage. ls430's prices vary by states, so you might want to shop around if you want to do shipping or driving it home. However, some dude bought a ls430 on CL from another state, and it wasn't like it was advertise. 

anywho if you do get 01-03, I have a body kit that you can buy lol

04's in Ga are running $22k+, Texas seems to be a very reasonable state to buy cars. I bought mine online from there and had it shipped to Ga. Worked out for me...

Ul is a waste of money, unless you plan on using the fridge while your butler drives you to the office :smiley-rofl:plus the stock air will faill after so many miles if you plan on lowering it

I went to look at the car in person.... it was terrible. Disgusting actually.... :( I love LS430s but that one was BADDDDD. oil stains all over the interior, it was clear that the owner did not take care of the vehicle.

I would've pointed out all the deficiencies & made a crazy ass lowball offer (if the car was mechanically sound tho.) Nonetheless, sorry about your time wasted man... btw, I want one of these too, lol.

I tried, the guy selling the car was an asshole, haha. He wouldn't budge a penny on the price! :/ I'm still on the look out for one! :D
