W.T.F!!! why does my system sounds like garbage!
Y33.... 70-7551 bose intergration harness. Aftermarket jensen radio,and clarion eqs746... installer pluged in harness, rca plugs to eqs746,and main Rca from eq to head Unit. First music was low,then installer did somthing, I don't Know I think he tapped into something, music got louder, but its not meshing correctly,and eq has sub input,and it won't play when I connect to sub input.. w.t.f. never mind I found that my h.u is the garbage..

You are right! I'm going to get, double din nav h.u. with 4volt preouts... looking at,xvn-660,has a seven band eq!

its not just the jensen that was the problem... the other problem is spelled bose.
you used an integration harness and are guessing at voltages to send to the inputs of the bose amp.
its a lot more work but i would reccomend bypassing the bose amp. that way you get FULL range sound to the speakers. the only thing to make sure of is that the speakers are not too low of resistance for your deck to handle. typically if its less than 2 ohms you might have problems for the deck.
now what i did in my LS in my first stage of install was kept the factory amp to run my stock sub woofer but bypassed the factory amp running the speakers. my deck also has crossovers built in so i highpassed the 4" speakers at 100hz 12 db slope.
next step was upgrade the factory sub.
then i got a 4channel amp for the door speakers, ended up just bi amping the front 6.5 exile components i put in. so much more control and better sound.
then i got upgraded from a single 8" free air to two tens sealed in the trunk...
baby steps. depending on how great you want the stereo to sound... i would reccomend bypassing the factory bose amps and upgrading the bose speakers. but i wouldnt stop at just that......

I have installed entire systems that don't sound as good as the stock speakers and amp using the new deck for the signal in my Y33.
Good sound can be achieved with a harness spliced into the OEM wiring. I can get you the part number of the harness I was given.
