New member from DFW, Tx

Hello, I was wanting to stop in and in introduce myself. 

My name is Brandon (27) and I just picked up an '03 M45 (Y34) and when searching for information on some things I could do to it I stumbled upon this site and found out quite a bit of info. In fact, it's the most info I've seen just about anywhere about the platform. Not really looking to do a VIP-build per se, but I do have some plans to set the already-unique Y34 platform apart from a lot of what's out there.

That's a clean lookin M, must have low miles maybe 80k or so. Interior looks good too only the drivers seat looks worn. You'll enjoy this site. Later.

Thanks bro! Believe it or not, it's sitting at 110K. It was well taken care of by the previous owner. Not a mark on the outside and interior is clean. Only damage is rash on the wheels, but they'll be getting replaced or refinished soon.

Thanks bro! I'm not sure what to do first. I just did an intake and got the windows tinted. I'm thinking exhaust next and then I'll probably look into a drop and then wheels. Still kind of figuring things out.

I'm coming up lost on where to start guys. I'm not really going for a vip build so to speak, but somewhere between vip and a 'bahn burner if that makes any sense. I want coilovers but I the prices seem to run between $1K and $3K. I'm all about spending the money if need be, but which set of coils is going to give me the best of adjustability AND performance?

Do what ever you want with the y34 but if you ever put those rims on it you will be :ban:from this site ...
 
As for the Y34 .. PM FLS he is working on a prototype c/o from Max usa for this car ..

Yeah. Having trouble deciding on a style. I know everyone says it, but I want to do something different.

I was looking for coils and came across these. They list compatibility with the 03-Up M45. Has anyone tried these out?
