GS300 vs LS400, maybe a sc300??

***NOOB ALERT LET THE FLAMMING BEGIN!!***

So hopefully my car will finally sell this week. Craigslist is probably the worst way to sell a car but it's free.

So I am finally getting into looking at some cars, I really wanna learn and start doing VIP but my budget right now is 3500-4000 bucks and I LOVE the 98+ Gs300's but could only find one for sale for 4k and it has like 220k miles and will probably sell before I get the cash seeing how cheap that is for that car.

So I have been looking more at ls400's and I found two sc300's for 2000 I know the sc isn't exactly VIP but they can look damn sexy!

So I need some advice here, should I just wait it out and see if I can find a gs300 for my budget or do I have my head in the clouds!? I have been having trouble finding a lot of ls400 builds and those gs300 headlights just get to me every time, I don't know if I like the older body-style so I am trying to stay 98 and up.

So any advice here guys on what car to get the ball rolling with!?

And on a side note any fellow Colorado owners out there would love to meet up and bs about cars! I am into everything.
or in CO and surrounding states if you have what I am looking for hit me up! :)

Thanks for the help, I have searched through some amazing builds you guys are awesome and it doesn't help you make all three of my choices gorgeous so now I can't pick lol!! Can't wait to get started!!!

3 very different cars. normally i'd say buy (save) what you really want, but if you're on a budget and need a car asap buy whatever is in the best condition, has the best maintenance records, etc. can't go wrong with any of those imo.

Lol, j/k... like OG said, it all depends on ur situation. If you elaborate more there should be more & better advice coming this way, however, if you dont need a car asap just save a little more (about $1.5-2 stacks) & just get a car with less miles than the 220k that GS hv & prolly cleaner.

Your looking at a nice 1st gen GS or 93-97 LS400. If you buy a car for 4k, even a Lexus there is gonna be some maintenence so save money for that and dont buy a car where the owner has no maintenence record. Think about it, if you spent thousands to maintain a car, wouldnt you want to show this when selling a car.
