Looking for a bodykit for my Y33

So i'm lookin around for a bodykit for my Y33. Just seeing if anyone knows of any that are stateside before I try and order one from overseas. I would like to possibly find one cheaper then the 2k+ price i've been seeing lol. So was kinda eyeing the version select one. So just let me know. Thanks everyone.

GL, I didn't have any. Only seen a few people feeling out selling theres. Mostly just new kits that were some serious dough.
So since I wasn't about to spend that much on a kit I went w/ version select myself.

Well, if you really think about it. The full front and rear bumper replacement kit that version select offers doesn't really repicate any kits on the market. The front bumper only emulates the JDM one, but with a few different things. But I know the lip kit they make copies one. Not sure which one. And it only works on the jdm front bumper and not the US one. lol. And as for knockoff vs real. I'm all about the style. I'm not worried about name brands. It's just that most of the name brands just have all the tight styles. lol. But ya gotta crawl before you walk when you're tryna build on a budget. :) And besides that gives people reason to continue building their car.

version select full bumper kit is a knock off of the auto couture domestic line kit and the lip kit is a knock off of the wald executive line kit. just save a lil longer and get what you really want. it'll be worth it.

+1, I have thought about getting the version select kit and cutting it up to fit a Benz AMG bumper with LED fogs in the front and dual exhaust with red LED marker strips in the back as well as smoothing out the side skirts. Totally different!

It isn't worth spending $2,500 on a quality kit if you are going to cut it to pieces but it also isn't cool rocking an imitation kit. You wouldn't roll RUFF racing wheels on a VIP car so why would you do the same thing with a kit?

lol nah it's all good dirtyatl. :) I know burgy has been in the game for a minute and so have all of you. It's good to get schooled in certain things. lol. But yea i didn't know that it was a copy of the auto couture kit.

Burgy - I was actually planning on modding it with the audi s6 fog lights or benz ones as well. :) And I know that alot of the peeps in Japan who are in the VIP scene mod their body kits to make them one offs. So it would be cheaper for me to mod a "knockoff" rather then spend huge money and hack up an authentic one. (that will come later) haha.

So much MAHALOS for everyones opinions and ideas. It's help to me. :D

Mahalo! If you make it a one off I would NEVER hate on it!!

It just isn't cool taking a replica kit and keeping it the way it comes. If you do that it is just like rocking fake rims.

No venom...just ask anyone that has been in VIP for awhile and you will get the same answer

Hey Burgy, I have "fake" wheels. LOL! :P They're LM reps made by Varrstoen. BUT, i'm sponsored by them and I don't fake the funk by putting BBS centercaps and sh*t on them. :) I proudly support Varrstoen by rockin their name on my window. I am however gonna get a set of "real" rims in the near future haha.
