why no G37 love?
just wondering why i havent seen any g37 sedans or coupes decked out? i think a 2010 and newer sedan would look sweet vip styled (more aggressive front). i see a bunch of 2005-2010 M's which hold thier value well so i know its not the price point. any love?

G37s are more expensive than an IS.. That's why I see more Lexus IS vip'd out than G37s.. G37s is around $45k here in Hawaii.. And Value for the M? Lol.. The Infiniti M got no value lols..

Yeah.. M doesn't hold it's value that great.. Brand new M56 is around $60+k and after couple years.. You can own one for a price of $30k

You're predicting the future on a car that basically just came out... anyways, a 2009 G37 can be had for what my 2006 M45 costs... A G is an ENTRY level lux sedan while the M is nevermind... I dont want to get into another flaghip argument, lol. And sure a brand new 2011 or 12 G is gonna cost more than my M but that's apple to oranges... my car is 5, almost 6 years old... & if it's "valued" at even a flat 20k after all these years, that's pretty good imo.
I have noticed that M35s on the other hand dont hold their value so well. I know they were cheaper than 45s when new but the current numbers from 06/07 35s are not hand in hand with their 45 counterparts.

06 M45s actually worth 17,500 with 65k miles.. I like my M45s but INFINITI is not in the "luxury" area yet lol.. I drive brand new Infinitis almost everyday and those cars got so much road noise lol compared to Lexus cars.. Luxury is the only thing Infiniti is missing.

I wasnt gonna answer but I cant help it...
All the luxury talk is irrelevant, I was just mentioning the category the G falls in, & the one the M falls in...
BTW this is my M45 sport's sedan "Private party value" at "good" rating with Journey, tech, DVD, Nav with 76k miles...

i do drive infinitis every day and you are correct about the road noise but infiniti is more lux/sport. you try to take a G in an IS or even a GS youre in for a suprise :) in 2010 they changed to a nicer grain leather and more soft touch leather covered trim pieces. I'd also love to see a new M done up but i figure thats out of question being 50-60k. thats why the G's should be considered. believe me i see what 05-10 M's pull ($) all the time and they will pull more than newer G's.

Yup.. New M's are dope.. M56 sport fully loaded that is. And yeah Infiniti is lux/sport category. While Lexus is in the luxury category.

I think 4 door G's look sick when done up right. I can def dig it, and think it works well with VIP styling. There is a guy on this forum that has a siiiick one.
When I used to have my F50 it would break all the time, and the loaner car from the dealer was either a newer G35 or G37. Those cars are pretty fast!! VQ spanks some Honda ass!! When I used to drive it, it did feel more like a sports car than a luxury car.
I totally agree with Str45, for some reason the higher model Infiniti's don't hold their value very well, especially older ones. I don't know why. My F50 lost over 50% of it's value in the 2 years that I owned it. Horrible statistic. But hey whatever, from an enthusiast standpoint that might be a good thing, better chance of finding good deals for VIP builds. For example, my 40k something mile G50 in almost perfect condition for a measly $3K.
