95 Lexus SC400, Supercharged, Widebody, 6 speed

Here is my build thread,  I will keep this updated as I go

The swap and overhaul has finally started going forward.  I finally threw in the towel after never having enough time to work on her myself due to work.   My close friend Brian at Fabricated Performance is taking the build over with my direction and vision in mind.  If anyone is interested in his work you can PM me.


I had the Auto Tranny cooler blow out earlier.  It spewed tranny fluid everywhere, What a mess.....
As you can see its coating everything.   Brian is in the proccess of striping the car and running all the parts threw the Parts washer.   He is one Meticulous hard worker. The control arms will be powder coated black and the whole underside of the car will be Undercoated to try and catch this surface rust before it gets any worse.

Living the low life aint easy.

He is in the process of taking Every peice out from the engine bay to color match it to the body, As well as throwing every part into the parts cleaner.

A friend of mine went to a junkyard and came across some LS400 Calipers,  Got them for me for 13$ each!!! 


In the first step of polishing them to a chrome like shine

Engine bay is painted:

Engine bay is almost finished!   We choose to keep the Fire-wall black to ad some contrast in the engine bay.   The Motor Block itself is a Flat black,  with a polished intake manifold, supercharger and Headers.  The valve covers are pictured a few post's back

As for the Bodywork, its a One off Custom widebody kit.    K&M missile Rear over fenders with origin front fenders.  97+ Front and rear. With Custom 97+ side skirts that were built up to match the rear quater pannels.

Thanks man!  as for numbers i have no idea.  there is a set up close to mine that made around 400hp and 600tq but mine differs as I have a full exhaust, and will be running meth injection

it sucks man,  im working 60+ hours a week, Pay check is great but I just have no time or energy left to finish.  As for engine management honestly i have no idea as of now.  Im doing alot of research when i have time.  For now I believe we will be going with an SAFC or something similar.   Defiantly stand alone and more boost in the future, just not sure which one yet

Heres a quick look at some of the polishing work we are putting into the motor.  These are NOT the valve covers I will be using.  The nice powder coated ones will be the last peice of the puzzle,  Dont want them to get scratched!

Your car is really coming along, I remember following your threads on Club Lexus back when I had my 92 SC400. The stretch on your tires perfect, helped me confirm that Ill be going with 225s on my 9's and 245s on my 11's. Keep up the good work!

So much win. Can never go wrong with work equips with fat lips.

There are lots of kits out nowadays these swaps are almost common.

changing some things on the plenum to use a Blow off valve in place of the recirculation valve.   Yes technically it will still be a recirculation valve but it will sound like an atmospherically vented blow off valve when I shift.

A hint at the motor.   The supercharger will be Black next time you see it. and the wires will all be hidden if i have time.  Get a little taste of that new rad.  Look at all the room you get by removing that stupid hydrolic fan set up...

on a side note, I dont really know what I would classify my car as? Its got some Drift style, "Stanced" style yet retains some OEM style with some Muscle car thrown in?  All with brand name quality parts?  VIP inspired maybe?  I dunno
