So I know i'm probably not the only one who has done this. BUT, I am however the only one in my area if not state to do it. :D It's kinda different, but that's what we're all about correct? Anyways, feel free to love it or hate it. It's all good criticism in my book. :) The engine bay isn't done yet. It's still under construction. lol Thanks goin out to my homie Mark Wu for puttin in the time to help me with it.

Thanks guys. Well the heat so far isn't an issue on the intake part. But I think i'm only gonna put the main cover on when I go to shows or meets. :) I don't wanna risk it. But my friends BMW has the same material in his engine bay and it's been in there for 2 years and still looks good. Some corners are coming up a little but nothing major.
There are a couple other pieces that will be wrapped. Also a few more things will be added in the engine bay to try and make it presentable at shows. :)
And Yes, the white is carbon fiber. If you see it person you can tell. The pics kinda blend the pattern.

Temp is no problem, ran it on my valve cover and the guy that did it has it on his 800hp nova so it does alright lol.

I think it's sick
Wrap the strut towers in the white CF to complete the look (IMO) and maybe even the STB
Edit: Oh and the battery, wrap the top of the battery too

Biting is a form of flattery of a good idea. My guy does killer carbon work. And not sure if this is a looking for thread? or he can do it thread.. but he do all sorts of cool stuff, his carbon work is pretty awesome. He even wrapped parts of a bike in real carbon.

Umm hell nah brah. DO IT! It would look sick in your engine bay. And if it were biting, then i'd be a biter myself because I KNOW someone has done this waaaaay before. Especially my "cousins" in japan. :)

i have some engine pieces dipped in "carbon fiber" and have no issues with heat. real carbon looks better but it comes with the price.
i think the white with the wood pieces look good. a friend of mine has his GS4 in all burlwood and i think it's too much.
