03 m45 xm radio

so i have an xm receiver that i got from a g35. turns out it is the same pn that the m45 calls for. luckily (blehh) i have an 03 so it is NOT prewired for SAT radio. just ordered the adapter harness online for $50 since that part is pretty much NOS. ive seen the install thread on nico, but was curious if anyone here has installed xm/sirius in their M45s??

there should be a harness you have to y into on the left side of the trunk.  the wire you got from the dealer will plug into there and the receiver should mount to a tray under your rear deck.

B8377-CR000 is the adapter harness that is needed for the q45/m45s that aren't prewired for satellite radio. it includes 2 big ass harnesses. according to the nico install thread. one harness plugs between the audio unit to the receiver then from the receiver to the cd changer....a big loop.
