Introducing my gs300 build thread - Finally back in a lexus

So after years and years of 240's and an SC300 I've finally made my way into the Lexus Sedan world. I recently traded my S14 for a GS300 on UAS Air Bags. Shortly I will be picking up some wheels and a lip. The fenders were pulled to clear some obviously wide wheels. So Ill get to working on stance after Ive picked wheels.

and yes I shamefully shot it where I shot Charleston's car at.... Hopefully by this winter she will be ready for next years show circuit.

Nice pick up. And nice kouki as well. I came from an s14 too.

I came from several s-chassis as well...haha.

Things ive found wrong so far-

- leaking oil
- door locks not always working properly
- dash / climate control lights out
- cluster / bezel - needs work
- fender pull was done by 12 year olds

But the interior is pretty much mint, and the air bags are awesome...

The fenders had all ready been pulled so running around on stockies was totally out of question. Plus I love the vip look...thus wheels and slammed is the first step...

lol clean GS you got, you got this car from a guy in socal huh? didnt it have "daily driven" sticker on the rear fenders to cover up the weak fender work

good look in those wheels...what tires are those...BFG? All I see is a crazy pattern, but they look good.

Yes I got the chassis from a kid in LA. But no there was no stickers covering up anything. FInally had a few moments to get her into my back yard for a semi official shoot~

Basicly just a stock GS300 that looks like 90% of other VIP'd out Blk/blk GS's-
UAS Air bags - needs new front bags shortly
Work Euroline DH's - 19 x 9/10 -7

JP stuff blah blah blah
 
She still has a long way to go. Kit, paint, FI, ect...all with in the next few months so stay tuned and Ill update this thread as we have photoshoots and add mods to her.

Rides great but ive got bag rubbing issues. Ill update with more info after I hit up UAS tomorrow.

Recently I've seen that S14 with Team Hybrid stickers on it at my work in Huntington Beach.

Yup.. went to a guy in cali and my gs came from him. He was suppose to remove the stickers though....

can't wait to see what you do to the GS!  the 240 looked great.  I knew a lot of the og hybrid back in the days...dont remember many of them now.

Nice, thanks for the bumps on her guys. 

But....

she was sold on October 17th and replaced with a 2000 LS400 with only 68,000 miles.... So Ill have a new build thread to post up after xmas...

Dayum, I thought I was the only one that get board after putting a nice ride together. Anyways I can't wait for what you have in store for us.

Well honestly it was either turbo or swap to a 400 series chassis. In the end since Im more about show builds these days I figured a v8 chassis would be more me for a little while at least. Driving an NA GS300 around coming from my 500hp S14 was very depressing at times. But since I've gotten into the LS400 Ive never complained once. Sure its not 500hp 2500lb car, but at least I don't have v6 camries passing me. Plus I just didnt want to deal with the additional headaches of forced induction on a car. 

Also 2 kids in the back of the LS works out alot better than in the GS for me. 

But as far as plans for the LS... well unfortunately Im leaving las vegas to work in Washington DC for the winter (Nov-Feb). But no worries Ill be ordering, collecting and gathering parts for my build. I may have coils installed while out in DC as I hate the stock handling feel of the boat
