Air Zenith Compressors
Looked around a bit but not a whole lot of info on this site. Im thinking of upgrading my current Viair compressor with an AZ unit. Mainly want the AZ cause of the higher flow rates which should provide faster fill times. I dont have space to do a dual compressor setup so Im looking to do a single. So looking for more info from people who run them. Like to know how they compare to Viair compressors (sound, quality, reliability)

Couple guys I knew had Air Zenith kits on their G35's...both of the guys had their bags pop within a couple months and air zenith didn't honor their warranty. Can't really say anything about their compressors...

i've only ever really seen air zenith's in the minitruck community, and a lot of the guys who do run air zenith with a lot of exposure are sponsored. as far as i'm concerned, viair is the benchmark.

OP, one of the upsides of having 2 compressors is that if one breaks you hv the other as back up & you're not screwed... I know u mentioned space constraints, but I suggest you find a way to make two fit. BTW like it was stated on here VIAIR is the benchmark for compressors... gl.

I run a AZ compressor and have yet to have issues with it. I know of several other people that have had theirs for several years w/o issues.

Viair are good... but they almost always fail. I ran through 4 during a 2 yar period. Viair always honored their warranty. I want to try the AZ compressors for my new air setup.
Good luck.

viair so far hasn't had any problems... I run dual 480C.... the only problem is that it draws alot of amps and makes my lights dim and idle dip alittle. However the tank fills quicker AND the pumps run alot less therefore not getting as hot as a single.

might be because you're in the NE. that cold climate wears on compressors more so than the south and west coast. i'm willing to bet that AZ's would have a similar result under the same circumstances.
